Great little private campground in the Wolf Lodge Bay.

This is a great little private campground in the Wolf Lodge Bay, and their added free amenities made this campground a really fun alternative to the usual state park/national forest campsites I go to more often. The swimming pool was well kept, and we really enjoyed using the free canoes. They had a lot of decent looking free firewood, but we were camping during a fire ban and weren't able to use it. (This, of course, is no fault of the campground. But if we camp there again it will be nice to have free firewood!)

We originally booked tent site 3, which I cannot recommend as it had no shade or privacy, but the attendant was very kind and let us switch to a shadier site for free. I think this was tent site 4 or 5, which were much better. Tent site seven looked really nice as well and I would recommend that one. But if we go back we will definitely be booking the island tent site 201, it looked to be the best one of all.

WARNING. DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS

I tried to cancel a reservation. Last week, no one answered the phone. They didn't respond to email. And as of today, their phone is disconnected. Another source stated they were in bankruptcy (unconfirmed).

Very small spaces with a sardine like feeling

Very nice front desk staff unfortunately the person who designed the campground tried to squeeze every possible inch into a site. Your neighbors look directly into your RV. It would be a great spot if they had about 1/3 rd less sites. Pricey for such small sites. We got a 50x20 site and we had to tip the picnic table on its side to fit in. Our rig fully expanded easily fits into a site much smaller than this.

Awesome place!

We stayed for a night with our cab over camper. Site 204 was great cause it was secluded and out of view from every other camp site and up a little hill with a “cliff” and full hook ups. They offer free firewood and anything on site is complimentary, first come first service and such as far as boats and other fun toys. Next time we’re through, we’ll definitely be staying here.

10/10

This was my second time camping here. Was happy to return with my family this time. Well ran, but busy place. Free firewood is much appreciated. Dog friendly. Was great to catch up laundry (located directly across from the pool) while the kids swam. All facilities are clean. Free access to peddle boats & canoes to take out on the lake as well as life vest.

Very nice family campground

Lots of amenities including pool, bathrooms, hot showers, fire pits with free wood and free access to canoes. The sites are small and close together but being at different levels you get some privacy. Giant pines also provided shades that was quite welcome.

One of the reason we spent some time there was to ride on "Trail of Coeur D'Alene".  The trail was not close enough to ride from the campground but could be reach by car in about 20 minutes.

Jam packed

I’m typically a dispersed camper type but needed to stay close to the city for work. The RV spaces are tight and I was 6ft from neighbors on both sides, but created a nice social environment if that’s what you’re looking for. Lots of amenities like pool, bathrooms, fire pits with free wood, if you’re looking for a resort experience this is a great clean and friendly place to be.

Great family campground

The grounds are very well maintained. There is a small store, a pool, and docks for fishing. Very family friendly with lots of kids and dogs. Small-ish RV parking spots and there was a wasp problem while we were there, but we had a great time. The staff is super friendly!

Very nice campground

The campground is really nice and offers a lot of amenities, including free fire wood. The rv/trailer sites are very level. I’d only have to argue with the placement of the power supply. I was in site 45 and my cord is on the driver side and my awning and entry door is on the passenger. The power outlets where on the opposite side. Lucky I had a extension cord and it worked out. The camp is very nice and really close to the lake. I fished the pond/marsh and fish did bite. Host were really friendly. The bathrooms could use some new stalls being that they have extremely short stalls. Very nice place to camp.

Tucked in the side of the mountain on the water

Even though the sites are small and close together, they are at different levels as you go up the hill combined with the sites and cabins being tucked under the giant pines, gives you a sense of privacy. It's a really cute campground/resort. They offer tent area, Rv area and log cabins of various sizes. Pool. Boat launch with access to coeur d'Alene lake. Beautiful setting. Cell signal is good.

Great Location, Family Friendly

We were lucky enough to land the island campground which made the whole experience amazing! This place has great amenities (free canoes, hot showers, flush toilets, free firewood) which made it the nicest campground I had been to for awhile. Like I mentioned before, we got the island spot which was far away from every other campsite. If we were camping on the mainland the sites are a little too close one might say. Overall an amazing place to camp!

Cool place, but BUGS

Any place that has free to use canoes gets a pet high score in my book. The sites were on a hillside, but pretty level. There wasn’t much space on the sites themselves so you’re pretty packed it. Communal amenities were nice. Shared kitchen, dishwashing and recreation areas made it so you didn’t need to use your site for much more than essentials. The bugs were NUTS when we went. Can’t fault the sites for that. It was really cool but bring the bug spray and remain vigilant.

Great family campground overall

Just got home from a three night tent stay. The kids had a blast. There were free canoes to use at the lake area, a pool to splash in and lots of room to run around. We had site 3, which was a huge site and right on the water (maybe not the best site if you have little ones). This site had one scrawny tree, so not a lot of shade. But other tents site were also large and had much more shade. Great campground overall. I loved that they provide free firewood, not that a fire was needed to stay warm when we were there. But camping just isn’t the same without a campfire.

Nice campground

We’ve stayed here a couple times now. It is a nice place. It is a little run down though. The car, tent camping is great. You have your own plot under trees. If you tent camp is the rest of the camp ground you will need a pad under your tent. I ground is pretty course gravel with up to 1.25” sharp stones. Firewood is free though.

Camp sites are a little tight but the services and amenities make it worth it. Hooks ups are nice and they have multiple. They provide canoes to borrow along with free fire wood. Laundry. Decent WiFi Cell service on Verizon Also hot showers.

Came here on accident

My and my lady like this place a lot! Nicely maintained facilities and bathrooms with hot showers. We got there late in the evening with no reservations but we were lucky enough to go online and book it on the spot. There are a few options. RV's and cabins. We got a tent spot, they're fenced to separate everyone. Don't quote me but I think they have canoes for people to use and a waterway to the beautiful lake. Felt safe here. I'll be coming back if I ever venture this way.
