Open year round

It’s a campground with pretty trees. Spots are close together. Mostly full time residents.

Tamarak RV Park

Nice little Rv park. Only complaint is that the sites are close together. The asphalt pads themselves are nice sized and ours is pretty level. Tons of mature trees providing shade. Clean on site coin laundry and nice public restrooms. Pricey but if you’re in town for work then the location is great.

Clean and great customer service

Very well maintained and excellent front desk service. Wish there was space to sit outside at the picnic table but spaces are too tight - we would be on top of our neighbor’s sewer. Very level spot and no street noise. There is quite a bit of noise from small children yelling but never after hours - only during the day or early evening.

City camping

This campground is nice, but right on a busy road. That makes it convenient but loud. Try to get a site in sections A or E. If in B, C or D try to get a high number (farther away from the road).

Surprising hideaway

We stayed at the Tamarack RV Park in June. It's a surprise, because you're right in town, but the stand of trees it's in, makes you forget that. I agree with the first review. The spaces are small. However, the restrooms and showers are very nice and convenient. Also had a great price.

And if you're in Coeur d'alene, you have to go eat at the Wolf Lodge.

Not my first choice

I should start off this review with a disclaimer that I'm not a fan of private campgrounds. We stayed here because it was close to family that we were visiting.

Campsites are very close together, we could nearly reach out and touch our neighbors.

The campground is located right in town on a fairly busy street, it was a convent to walk to the grocery store, cafe, gas station, department store etc.  Bathrooms were nice and clean, utility hook ups were available. there was no price reduction for not using them however.

We stayed two nights over the 4th of July weekend found the place to be a little noisy and rather expensive.
