Fishing and creek access draw campers to Mill Flat, an established US Forest Service site within Sawtooth National Forest that runs from June through October. The terrain is open, meaning little overhead cover from trees. Access roads are rough, so high-clearance vehicles are worth considering before the trip. Campers wanting more developed or sheltered alternatives nearby can look at Sublett Campground, located roughly seven miles south.
