The access road is unpaved with deep ruts. Low-clearance passenger cars can navigate it slowly, but motorhomes should not attempt it. Cell service is available. First-come, first-served with no reservations, so arrive early on summer weekends.

Easy primitive camping

This is a great spot if you are van camping and don't need any amenities. Its a primitive pull off that provides a good place for an overnight, but I wouldn't recommend much more than that.

Dirty, smelly

Place smells like carp. Hot and stinky. Garbage all along the river.

River access camping

Right on the snake river outside America Falls. This is a dispersed camping only site. It has a single vault toilet. The road is a dirt road with deep ruts. I was able to drive slowly and make it in a Hyundai. Small camper vans could make it as well but I wouldn’t even try to get a motor home down to it. There is a boat ramp and a small dock. The camping is first come first serve no reservations. It is a bit difficult to find but there is sportsman’s access signage on the main road. I stayed only one night. I think there are a lot better camping opportunities in the area. I won’t be going back. It was dirty and gave me the creeps. Lol
