Sporting events access: Atlanta-Marietta RV Park serves as a convenient base for professional sports. "Nice resort and it's close to the battery where the braves play baseball. The pizza place is soooo yummy, make sure you check it out," suggests Brittney C.

Clean facilities: Winding Waters RV Resort maintains high standards for its amenities and grounds. "Winding Waters is a new, huge, and beautiful RV resort. This is not a campground, but a resort-style RV park with no shortage of amenities and activities," explains Christina H.
Quiet atmosphere: Several RV parks in the area offer peaceful settings despite highway proximity. "We've used this campground few times passing through. It's a great midway point for us. Friendly nice staff and after hours box for late arrivals. Will be back for sure," shares Jan M. about Atlanta-Marietta RV Park.
Easy highway access: Atlanta South RV Resort provides convenient highway proximity. "A great place to pull off of I75 and get out of the traffic. Sleep in and then take off when traffic is not so heavy," mentions Benita P.
What you should know
Site spacing varies: Many campgrounds in the region have tight spacing between sites. "The sites are TINY. No campfires allowed. Close to everything which is a plus, but if you want to actually camp then find somewhere else," notes Myranda about Atlanta-Marietta RV Park.
Reservation systems: Twin Lakes RV Park and others have specific check-in procedures. "The offices closes at 6:30, but if you don't get there on time like we did they leave your reservation info outside the door," shares Alanna W.
Long-term residents: Several parks cater to both overnight and extended stays. "This park is located just south of Atlanta and is a great place to overnight on your way to a destination, or for more long term stay for out of town workers," explains Benita P. about Atlanta South RV Resort.
Tips for camping with families
Resort amenities: Winding Waters RV Resort offers extensive family-focused facilities. "There is no shortage of activities for children. The resort's pool is a huge beach-style pool with a hot tub and even a huge waterslide. There is a large playground and huge dog run," notes Christina H.
Dog-friendly options: Talona Ridge RV Resort accommodates pets with designated areas. "We were near their nice sized dog park that has separate areas for large and small dogs," explains MickandKarla W.
Off-site activities: Diamond Lure Campground provides access to regional attractions. "The woman in the office is so nice and very helpful. They have workers escort you to your site to make sure everything is OK," notes Corey G.
Tips from RVers
Full hookup options: Most RV campgrounds Lebanon, Georgia offer comprehensive utility connections. "We checked in and were escorted to pull through site H-48 with FHUs in the bottom Hawk level of this large campground. The pull throughs in this part of the CG were plenty long enough for our 40' toy hauler and F450 to include being able to put the patio down," shares MickandKarla W. about Talona Ridge.
Water pressure considerations: Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve and similar parks may have variable water pressure. "I gave this four stars instead of five because a) the pavement is so deteriorated that it is almost moon craters, and b) the 'scenery' just plain sucks. But for a safe place to hook up and stay, Sweetwater Creek RV Reserve gets five stars," notes Art Z.
Wireless connectivity: Connectivity varies between locations. "We got 4 bars on Verizon and the CG WiFi was above average for a park of this size," reports MickandKarla W. about Talona Ridge RV Resort.
