Cabin camping near Trenton spans rustic one-room structures to deluxe accommodations at several campgrounds in the surrounding area, with options at Lookout Mountain-Chattanooga West KOA and Cloudland Canyon State Park. The KOA cabins provide basic amenities including electricity and beds, while some include private bathrooms, small kitchenettes, and air conditioning. "The campground has excellent facilities and feels VERY secluded. The cabins look nice. It's also well wooded, which I appreciate," notes one visitor about the KOA property. Most cabin sites include fire rings, picnic tables, and access to common bathrooms with showers when private facilities aren't available in-unit.

Rustic and deluxe cabins are both available, depending on the location. At Lookout Mountain KOA, the cabins range from basic one-room structures to more substantial accommodations that can sleep families of four to six people. Most cabins remain available year-round, though amenities like swimming pools operate seasonally. Pet policies vary by location and cabin type, with some allowing dogs for an additional fee. A guest mentioned, "Our site was very nice. Far warning look into what you book as they all aren't the same." Advance reservations are recommended, especially during summer months and fall foliage season when the area experiences peak visitation.

Most cabins include beds but require visitors to bring their own linens, towels, and toiletries. Kitchen facilities vary widely between properties, with some offering only minimal cooking options while others provide refrigerators, microwaves, and basic cookware. The KOA campground maintains a small store with "very reasonable" prices according to reviews, selling firewood and essential items. Other supplies can be found in nearby communities, though several reviewers note that grocery stores are approximately 15 minutes from the Lookout Mountain location. Visitors planning extended stays should consider bringing food and supplies, as the remote mountain setting offers seclusion at the expense of convenience. Comparing cabin campgrounds near Trenton by amenities, pet policies, and seasonal availability can help narrow down the best fit before booking.

      Cedar Break RV Park

A great find to hang your hat for the evening. New owners look like they are doing amazing up grades. Our site 57 didn’t have a picnic table or fire ring but I’m sure they are working on it. Fairly quite and we would for sure come back and give it a 5 star when their done on the remodel.

      Desoto Falls State Park

Spacious and well maintained spots. Pull through spots available for larger rigs. Facilities well maintained and clean. The falls being driving distance away is the only drawback.

      Tennessee Wall Camp

I was worried that I would arrive and find all the campsites occupied. This was not the case. When I got there around 5:30 there was only one other site taken. I didn’t see them until the next morning. By morning, there were two other sites occupied.

Fairview Campground — Tims Ford State Park

      Fantastic

What a beautiful area to camp. We tent camped in a 12 person tent and had plenty of space on the grass to put the tent up. The other spots are more for RVs. The view is incredible! You can fish right on most of the sites including 41. We have 3 teenagers and they all have asked to come back to camp on this site. Plenty of privacy. We did have a bunch of kids that came through our site to visit the water which I was not a fan of but other than that it's truly a fantastic site. This place is wonderful! Oh, and our tmobile was spotty but still worked!

      Cloudland Canyon State Park Campground

      Must visit!

Excellent campground! We were on the west rim. Bathrooms nearby and very clean! Sites were spaced enough you don’t feel like you’re on top of your neighbors. Lots of trees. Playground for kids was great and there’s tons of trails of varying difficulties. There’s a grill at each site so bring charcoal! Really enjoyed our weekend stay and would definitely go back!

      DeSoto State Park Campground

      Nice Park

We stayed just one night but really liked the clean bathrooms and showers, sites are level and clean, it wasn't crowded when we were there so we had ample privacy. Will stay here again.
