Mountain Lakes Resort

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Mountain Lakes Resort sits on the water in Langston, Alabama, where the lake is not just a backdrop but a central feature of the property. Multiple piers and lake entries give campers direct water access, and the resort supports boat-in arrivals alongside standard drive-in access. Sites run tight, with one reviewer noting limited space between neighbors, so slide-out planning matters for larger rigs.

The amenities list here is longer than most private campgrounds in the region. Full hookups with electric, water, and sewer serve RV campers, and the property includes both an indoor and outdoor pool, a restaurant, a store, and a playground. Showers and restrooms are on-site, and WiFi is available. Facilities are consistently described as clean, and the grounds are well-maintained. Alanna R. sums it up as "clean facilities and overall mostly quiet."

Pets are welcome, and reservations are available. The resort draws a mix of weekend visitors and longer-stay members, with some campers spending up to two weeks at a time. Campfires are permitted. Nearby, Hidden Acres Getaway LLC and River Ridge Retreat offer additional options in the same corridor for groups splitting across properties. Many guests appreciated the lakeside location with direct water access, friendly staff, and quiet atmosphere. Sites are tight with limited space between spots, though clean facilities and amenities like multiple piers help offset this concern.

No space.

Sites are tight. Not much space. But everything is right on the lake which is nice.

Nice, quiet, Great Lake

Nice rv spot. Multiple piers, and lake entries, good rv “shop”, nice spaces and nice humans. Clean facilities and overall mostly quiet.

My favorite home away from home

We are members to this camp ground and absolutely adore it. From the friendly staff to the well kept grounds. We spend 2 weeks here at a time and are always satisfied.
