Amazing views and pure relaxation

We had camp site 19 and the views we amazing of the lake. Waking up opening the blinds to see the lake and ducks swimming around we’re just what we were looking for. It’s a bit of a hill to the lake but worth it. The showers were private and very clean, but the dump station DOES NOT empty your…

Wonderful spot

My wife and I camped with friends here mid week early this spring (2021). There are only a few RV sites in the campground but each one over looks the Flint River and the view is fantastic. The campground is quiet and not crowded. The bath house is clean and well kept. The staff at the “Trading…

Cabins are simple but nice

Cabins have great views with a back porch over the bluffs (with a nice sunset vantage point). Bunk beds are fine (mattresses not that great) and plenty of space inside with extras that make them really convenient (fridge, microwave, good heating). There’s about a 6-mile loop trail overlooking the…

This is a KOA Journey and a good stop

The RV sites are nice with limestone pads. I was able to park my 45 ft. Motorhome and Jeep toad without unhooking. Full hookup are adequate with nice bath houses. Wifi was about 40% until the park filled up then nothing. Cable tv reception screen quality was poor. Without cement pads, poor…

Great service

Pulled in for an overnight on a road trip. Got in around 7:00 and was offered food from a little hot kitchen on site which was a great convenience after being in the road. Escorted to site by an attendant, ensured that we had everything we needed, shortly after they left they returned with a few…

Good Overnight Stop

This was a good overnight site.  Typical KOA pull through where you are close to your neighbor.  They have a small dog park which is a bonus.  Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great Park!!

We stayed in site #16. I gave it 4 stars just because of the road noise

Pros:

  • Spectacular view of the lake
  • Clean bathhouse
  • Site is partially fenced and the pad is level.
  • Very friendly host
  • Not far from hiking trails in
  • Cell phone service (spotty in the campground. 4+ bars on the site…

Great Park!

This place is HUGE!! As others have said, the sites are a little close together and there's some traffic noise, but neither bothered me very much - I was real close to the road too, so not that bad at all. I was quite comfortable the two days I stayed here. They have a little convenience store with…

Best in Georgia

Top notch camping, easy access from I-75 almost all sites are pull through. Nice store at the office. We experienced a break down and we’re not able to make our reservation, the gave us a credit tone used at another date, and we used it 3 days later.

Small campground but pretty

Sprewell Bluff Park is about 50 miles south of Atlanta on the Flint River. The campground is small, tent & RV sites starting at $35/night with 30/50 amp electric, water, fire ring, and picnic tables. Most are back in. There is a showroom/bathroom. There are also cabins. The trading post has a…

Our Saving Grace!

We were so happy to get a spot here! We’d had a terrible experience with another campground in the area, & rolled in here at 9:30 PM to wonderful, spacious, gravel pull-thru sites with full hook-ups, & views of the pond. This is a great park & professional people! Well maintained…

They Kicked Us Out!

We were KICKED OUT! Read full story below: We knew we were in trouble as we drove through the grounds. For lack of a better word, this place was a dump, & we were searching for the silver lining, but it did not come. Our “long term site” was bordering the Frontage Rd. of hectic I-75, & so…
