NOT A SAFE HAVEN

Idk what’s going on but management drives out any workers every 3 months, and overworks them, doing 18 hours a day, and doesn’t even pay some of them. That’s not normal, and highly suspicious.

It’s not a safe town or a safe park. Half of it is a trashy trailer park, and is crawling with drug addicts, alcoholics, and thieves. Cops would come by weekly.

DONT GO HERE.

I know it’s cheap. It’s not worth it.

Great for a night, great for long term

Less than a half mile off of 75, this is a nice little stop for overnights, however the monthly rates also make it economical for longer stays. Not really anywhere for tent camping. There's a little bit of road noise when youre outside as to be expected with being so close, however theres just enough trees and scenery to make it feel a little more like nature compared to many of the other parks along 75. There are no online reservations, so you need to call or use the online registration request form, if nobody answers just leave a message and they'll be right back with you. Seems to be plenty of availability, we were able to book a monthly spot the day of.

Quaint and Clean

We were very pleased with our overnight stay! Spacious pull-through sites with 50 / 30 / 20 amp service, with new upgraded electrical. Water and sewer. Our drive took longer than we expected, and the friendly proprietor drove out at 11:15 PM to meet us at the gate, guide us to our site, and ensure we were able to see how everything worked. I was so impressed with his kindness that late at night. They also have a nice, clean bath house with two full bathrooms (shower, toilet, sink). The spacious shower had good hot water and great water pressure. And several coin laundry machines which we did not use. There appears to be a picnic table every 2 sites. We didn’t get out and explore much, as we were just stopping overnight.

Getting there: I highly recommend following the directions from their website (especially at night) as it provides some landmarks that are helpful. We are 42’ towing an SUV, and the last right hand turn to get onto their road was a little tight, but we made it. You drive behind some industrial looking areas, but the RV park itself feels very safe and secluded.
