    Encore Suni Sands

    Very close to Walmart

This is a nice RV resort. It has heated pool during the winter and hot tub is always hot, and also open 24 hrs. Great laundry 1.75 for wash and dry, need a card. Unfortunately close to airport. Military jets take off and landing. Very noisy, but just for a short amount of time. It starts at around 8:30 in the morning and ends around 10:00 pm at night. They do not run all day long. Just a few planes take off and land. I like that it is close to Walmart, plus the RV park will take your shopping cart back for you, just leave your cart in front of your site, and then it’s gone. Great dog park. Nice running track next to RV park. RV’s are close during peak season. We are here late in season so we are practically the only camper here. Great staff and they even bring your mail to you. No extra charge. You can do Amazon and UPS. Those drivers will bring it to your site rather than drop off at the office.

Del Pueblo RV Park & Tennis Resort

    Yuma, AZ….Loved loved this place

Everyone was happy and friendly. Lots of residents but very clean and everyone has flowers. There’s SO much to do here. The pool is very nice and can get crowded. Laundry room is nice sized but change machine was out of order. Nice dog park, pickle ball court. They take you to your site which is always nice. Wish all parks did that. Sites were huge. Nice patio and big space to park your vehicle. It’s a beautiful park. Would stay again if in the area.

Rio Bend RV & Golf Resort

    Convenient and clean, nice park

We only stayed one night in a pull through but enjoyed the facilities. Park is very clean and has a good restaurant. They do have a lot of mobile homes but most are newer and well kept. Some RV’s look abandoned which is a shame. Nice dog park area with grass, could use water for the pups. Laundry and bathrooms were very clean. Pool area and restaurant, bar area is nice. We had dinner, wing’s were great burger was good but not great. Service was very good. Pull through site was narrow but had all we needed for one night. Looks like the workout facility is nice.

    El Centro NAF Campground

    Military Campground

This campground is located on a military facility. You must have base access/privileges in order to utilize this campground.

The sites near the gym are back in only with full hookups on an asphalt lot. There is a small strip of grass behind each site.

Pets are allowed. Leash rules are established.

Great location for the annual air show in March. This campground is popular with “snowbirds”. Winter months stay pretty busy, while excessive heat in the summer keeps it pretty empty.

The base has a large pool with water slides, gym, bowling alley, exchange/commissary, and movie theater.

    Holtville Hot Springs Dispersed Site

    Amazing Soaks to be had!

We loved this spot. FREE Dispersed camping is located just past power lines behind the actual hot springs. To stay at the LTVA you must have self contained trailer, van, rv…we didn’t know this. It worked out better-FREE camping and just a lil over an ¼ mile to the springs. It is well maintained by camp host Bill. Vault toilets, with TP & bonus there is great food at The Holtville Taco Shop 7 miles from springs. The Del Sol market has great marinated chicken for the BBQ and the tortillas are best outside of Mexico I have found. We will be back as the sunsets are too good not to experience over and over again…cold at night this time of year…

    Mojos Slab Camp

Layed back with nice people and friendly pets.

Stopped in total last minute and Mojo was friendly and accommodating! I loved the vibe and although it is free to stay out in the slabs it was totally worth it to pull in here in the dark and have a place to stay. My only regret was that it was a quick stop-over and I couldn't stay longer.

If you are looking for interesting places, colorful people and friendly free roaming pets, then this is the place. I hope to stop here again in the future and spend more time with Mojo and the crew.

    Lost Traveler MHP RV Park

    Good winter hold over

Staff are friendly and helpful. Park is fairly clean a couple of campers have what looks like a bunch of junk. Most are clean. Great access to of of Yuma area. For the money we are spending three months and are happy. Good base camp. There’s a very large sandy area next to camp ground to walk our dogs they love going to.

    Slab City

    24 hrs in the SLABS

Ok I went here hoping to spend more than 24 hrs and explore and what not but I stuck out like a sore thumb with a military truck and decent travel trailer. Theirs TOOO much need in this community (comparable to skid row if your familiar but in the desert) This is more than just DISPERSED camping where you pull over and kick back. Its literally survival at all times because that’s what THEY are doing in the desert. I could not sleep with all the evening noises and people tweaking/high on something walking around. That all said Salvation Mountain is pretty amazing and safe due to its state protected and at entrance into the Slabs so it’s well traveled. So much LOVE went into it. Do drive around the outskirts of the slabs some too and you’ll find plenty of random desert art that Slabs City is known for.
