Visitors often highlighted level sites, good amenities like pool and rec room, plus proximity to Yuma and Mexico. WiFi and cell service issues noted, but recent upgrades show promise.

Back at Yuma again.

Ok.  It's Winterhaven but close enough.  The park's wi-fi is now much better this year. But they are lagging in some needed repairs.  East bathroom/shower/laundry has a broken pipe and is out of service. Only one working shower in the ladies BR. And lights hanging down by wires in the mens. The park is more than half empty as many Canadians choose to stay home and freeze or go to Mexico as it is "safer" than the USA.  Jokes on them.  We will see them next winter.  Pool and spa are a great amenity and two nice dog parks for our K9 companions.  Bathrooms are always clean and tidy.   Really need to do away with the $1 showers though.   Filtered drinking water onsite for a quarter a gallon. A Bargain.  Minimum age is 45 yrs old. So don't bring the kids or grandkids.  Bingo and karaoke each week.  And the office will receive your mail and Amazon packages.   Lisa and Jeniene in the office are always a pleasure to speak to.  Treat them nice as they assign your campsite.  Enjoyed our stay again this year and hope to see everyone again next year.

Just the right size

Ya the roads are dirt but it's cooler. There are about 160 sites. And there are buddy sites, two RVs can face each other. It's for over 55.

Upgrades in progress.

New owners and management team at the park. During our stay, the laundry, bathrooms, and activity center were being remodeled. Also, the pool and spa. So there was some inconvenience. But in the long run, it will be worth it. The grounds have been improved and are looking good. But the wifi still lacks a lot to be desired and the cell service is marginal. When the upgrades are complete, it will be a 5 star park.

Very accommodating

We have stayed here a number of times. Nice level pads, pool, rec room. Only 7 minutes to Los Algadonas, Mexico where we get dental work.

One night stand

We arrived late and the check in was easy. The site layout was a little confusing at night. Tight spots. We left early so we didn't use any amenities. Place looks clean.

Nice midsize Rv Park

Very friendly transient and seasonal Rvers. Love the trees in this desert area. Close to Yuma and Los Algodones.
