Set up in one of the valley’s campgrounds then visit the many casual tasting rooms that won't mind dirt under your fingernails.  When you tire of drinking wine, hike Mt. St Helena, a dormant volcano. Or walk through the Petrified Forest, a forest that was turned to stone by the last eruption of the volcano. Or visit California’s Old Faithful, a nearby geyser.


Once you have found camping in California’s Half Dome in Yosemite Valley, center yourself in Tuolumne Meadows, a more remote section of the park with its own collection of charming granite domes. Here's a secret: Instead of joining the crowds of day hikers on the meadow's most popular trails, follow the backpackers north on the famed John Muir Trail. The trail meanders through meadows, along a river below alpine peaks. And best of all, the first 8 miles of this trail out of Tuolumne are flat. Hike until you find a spot to watch the marmots, then return to your campsite. For more, backpack another 23 miles to Reds Meadow where you can catch a shuttle back up to Tuolumne.

Welcome campers! Please read all of the below before booking, including the DIRECTIONS! Please do not show up without first making a reservation!

We have over 10 acres of stunning campground nestled only 15-20 minutes from the North entrance to the Sequoias! We have multiple sites to accommodate every type of camping from tent camping to tents-attached-to-cars and trucks, to pop-up campers to RVs. With exception of our 2 RV sites, site numbers are not used…which allows you to pick any open area on the 10 acres. We have many many sites for you to choose from! That being said if you have a large group message me and I can reserve a big spot for you.

There are wonderful views down into the valley, at night with sunsets off-the-hook, and city lights twinkling in the valley distance. Pick your spot and enjoy!

Be advised that if you do not have Verizon wireless, you will most likley lose service at some point!

DIRECTIONS: The 'Pinehurst Lodge' is on google, an easy reference point and is 1 minute away. Navigator apps push anyone coming from the south up the 245 highway. It is a very windy and slow climb up the hill. Totally doable, except large rigs. We recommend continuing north on the 99 to Fresno and then heading east on the 180. Its a faster and much smoother drive.

On this route that last gas station is a vallero called Clingins Junction. You can find it online. From this gas station, head east on the 180 for exactly 9.8 miles to the 245 highway, make a right, heading south. If you hit the park entrance, you went too far, turn around. Once on the 245, go 5 miles south.

When you arrive look for orange cones and solar lights easily visible from the road. There is 3 gates. The one that leads to the house. Directly to the right of that gate is the RV hook up sites gate. To the right of that is the lower campgrounds road.

Sequoia Mountain Farms

A family friendly RV Park at the base of Sequoia National Park, just 25 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park, and minutes from Three Rivers and the Kaweah River. Nestled in the foothills of the western Sierra Nevada mountain range in California.

Lemon Cove Village RV Park is located in the small town of Lemon Cove, population 350. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery including mountains, rocks, oak trees, clean fresh air and is just 19 miles east of Visalia.

With Kaweah Lake and the Kaweah River only 4 miles away and the town of Three Rivers just 16 miles north, you will find that there is plenty of exciting exploring or relaxation around every corner.

## Overview

Grouse Valley is located in the Giant Sequoia National Monument within Sequoia National Forest. The facility is a complex of two cabins; the Lakeside Cabin and the Hillside Cabin. The Lakeside Cabin is the largest of the two and can accommodate up to 12 people. The Hillside Cabin accommodate up to 10 people. The property is nestled in an open scenic valley, which contains two lakes surrounded by pine and oak trees and a few small fruit and nut orchards. The serenity and open space provided at Upper Grouse presents visitors with a rare opportunity to enjoy the Sequoia National Forest apart from the traditional campground experience.

## Recreation

Visitors are invited to fish, canoe, and hike around the lakes on the property. All California Department of Fish and Game and U.S. Forest Service regulations apply. There is a barn, hay shed, a pasture adjacent tot he Caretaker's Cabin, and horse corrals for visitors who choose to bring their horses to ride.

## Facilities

The 1,550 square foot Lakeside Cabin is two-story log cabin with an 8-foot covered deck on three sides. The 1,400 square foot Hillside Cabin is also a log cabin with an 8-foot deck on three sides. The cabins include a full kitchen, living and dining areas, full baths (the large house has two full baths) and large areas for bunks/beds. Additional amenities include hot showers, electricity, laundry facilities, and grills. If you plan on using the grill on the porch please bring your own charcoal briquettes. Cabin users should also provide linens, pillows, blankets, towels, toiletries, toilet paper, food and trash bags. Firewood can be purchased from local stores in Springville.

## Natural Features

The Upper Grouse Valley is approximately a fifty minute drive north of Springville, California, at an elevation of around 4,800 feet. Vegetation on the property includes riparian, mixed conifer (ponderosa pine, incense cedar, and white fir), and fruit orchards. The property has a lower and an upper man-made lake. At 4,800 feet elevation, visitors need to be prepared for a variety of weather including warm afternoons, chilly nights and afternoon thunderstorms. It is also not unusual to experience a dusting of snow during the early spring and later fall months. The land surrounding the cabins is open to the public who must walk-in so other visitors may be in the vicinity during your stay.

Grouse Valley

Horse Creek Campground is located on the Kaweah River in the foothills of central Californias Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Terminus Dam on Kaweah Lake is three miles east. Natural Features: The campground is settled on the river in a broad, arid valley with few trees. Shade is limited. Recreation: Kaweah Lake offers boating, water skiing and sailing. Anglers can fish for largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish and rainbow trout. Facilities: The campground contains 76 sites without hookups. Amenities include flush toilets, showers and a dump station. Weekend programs are held May through September in the campgrounds amphitheater. Nearby Attractions: The campground is 10 miles from Sequoia National Park. Visitors enjoy viewing the inspiring Giant Forest Grove and mighty General Sherman Tree - the worlds largest tree in volume. Sequoia RV Ranch is located 8 miles from the southern entrance of Sequoia National Park in the gateway town of Three Rivers, California. The RV Ranch is situated in a rural setting along the North Fork of the Kaweah River and is surrounded by hills and mature trees.

The ranch has been under current ownership since 2007 and has undergone numerous renovations and upgrades. A variety of sites are available. Several RV only sites right along the river. All sites include a fire ring, picnic table, and varying amount of shade.

One highlight of the campground is a spring-fed swimming hole that is naturally maintained year round.

We allow each guest to book a maximum of 2 sites. When booking online you are only submitting a REQUEST. You do not have an official reservation until you receive the email confirmation stating your site number. All prior emails are only a copy for your records of what you have requested. Please keep in mind that you are not promised a site simply by submitting a request.

Our WiFi system covers the entire campground. Our Bathhouse is equipped with sinks, counter tops, showers (coin operated), and a laundry room (coin operated).

NOTE: WE DO ALLOW TENT CAMPING IN DRY CAMPING AREA.

## Overview

Potwisha Campground, located along the Generals Highway in Sequoia National Park, offers convenience for visiting the many attractions in the park. The campground is situated along the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River, just four miles from the park entrance, in the Sierra Foothills. ## Recreation

There are numerous opportunities for fishing and hiking near the campground. The Marble Falls trailhead is situated adjacent to the campground and several other trails are a short drive away. Access to the Kaweah River is just a short walk across the street from the campground.

## Facilities

Potwisha Campground offers 36 reservable campsites. Picnic tables, fire rings and food storage lockers are provided at each site. Flush toilets, drinking water and an amphitheater are available within the campground. A free dump station, open year-round, is located across the highway from the campground.

## Natural Features

The Foothills consist of the lower elevations of Sequoia National Park, where the grassy valley floor gives way to granite peaks. Oaks, chaparral, and river canyons are plentiful here in an area with more biological diversity than the conifer forests and High Sierra combined. Winters are relatively snow-free and mild; summer is characterized by hot and dry weather. Wildlife is frequently seen in the area, including the American Black Bear, mule deer, and bobcats, as well as numerous bird species.

Buckeye Flat Campground offers 27 reservable campsites accommodating tents only. Picnic tables, fire rings and food storage lockers are provided at each site. Flush toilets and drinking water are available within the campground.

Our RV Park is situated on Kings River and a gateway to Kings Canyon National Park & Sequoia National Park on route to Yosemite National Park. Our RV park is 20 min away from Fresno, 25 min away from Clovis and Parlier, and 40 min away from Visalia.

Our amenities include a 3 acre fully stocked fishing pond, game courts, playground, dog park, and direct access to the Kings River.
