RandCher Vineyards operates as a private campground within a working raisin vineyard, providing RV sites with electric and water hookups on open terrain. The facility accommodates big rigs and offers shaded parking areas to protect RVs from direct sun exposure. Sites sit surrounded by active vineyard operations, giving campers direct access to the agricultural setting.
Owners Randall and Cheryl maintain phone accessibility for guest questions and reservations. The campground charges $25-35 per night and provides drinking water on-site. For additional camping choices in the region, campers can explore places to camp near Fresno.
Description
Our family's heritage in the San Joaquin Valley is over 100 years, we are California grown! The land was purchased from the railroad in 1908 by Grandpa Coen when he immigrated to the USA after his service to the British Empire during WW1. Grandpa established and maintained the vineyards during his life in California's Central Valley which he left to his daughter, Irene. She kept the farming tradition going with her husband, Al, and they expanded by purchasing surrounding land and planting more vines. Today their daughter, Cheryl, and son-in-law Rand continue the family farming tradition for the next century.
We are working vineyards of 100 acres and family-owned for 100+ years. We have wide-open spaces to enjoy the peace and quiet of country life.
Camping by reservation only. Harvesting activities in September can reduce availability.
There is nobody on-site and no store to purchase products, our vineyards produce Sun Maid Raisins (not wine).

We also offer parking spaces on level concrete located behind locked street entrance gates for a fee with shared fresh water and electricity. Please do not walk out into the vineyard rows and always stay on the dirt roads at 5 MPH Max.
