Relax by the lake!

Hardly anyone there when I went in March and felt like I had the place to myself! Hot showers and picnic table available. Just a 1 min walk down the hill to the lake - a perfect place to have my morning coffee! They allowed pets which is awesome. Super quiet, lots of stars, and a beautiful view.…

Chill during the week

Site 10 is most secluded. Foot and bike traffic heavy during the day as trailhead is at end of campground. Token showers and clean restrooms. Lots of wildlife- coyotes and owls at night. I stayed during the week, looks like it gets nuts on the weekends. If the campground is busy, you’ll be parking…

Fun times at this KOA

This KOA is nestled in the hills of Santa Paula. The KOA is consistent with its name, meaning the kids amenities are all there, trampoline pillow, nice walking trails, walking labyrinth, and of course the adventure course and zip lines which are great activities for all ages. This place also has…

Testing out the kit for the first time, so I’m going KOA for a few days in the tent…

Well-run place. Very nice shop staffed with knowledgeable people. Very clean and well-manicured grounds. Great for families. Safe. Minimal noise. Feels far from everything, but is only a short drive from LA/SFV. The adjacent town of Santa Paula is a great place to spend time. They’ve got a…

Clean, well-supervised, and shaded trees.

I just finished booking our second stay at Oak Park, and this time we're celebrating Christmas. The park is kept well groomed, and the lower lot is loaded with shade. I'm betting we'll be coming back, again, after our up-coming reservation. A big shout-out to the camp host for doing such a great…

Great with considerations

The most fantastic thing about this RV spot is the location - directly facing a large, beautiful, clean beach with built in fire rings, a very long bike bath and bike rental kiosk. You can step out of your RV and be right on the beach in minutes, for long walks, biking, sunbathing etc. The…

Great overnight place

I was visiting in Ventura and just needed a rv place for the night. There were plenty of spaces and other than my rv only 2 others. Nice and quiet along the channel. Basically a paved parking lot. Can pay cash or cc @ kiosk. It was a little difficult to find, so plug in Curlew Way..it is on…

A quiet place to enjoy the spectacular beauty of nature

This is a true jewel of a campground. Not only lots of activities for kids but the views are spectacular of the mountains. Wild peacocks roam this campground. The facilities are well maintained and some being rebuilt after a fire. This location is more expensive than others but the views and…

Works for what it is

We Stayed here while doing some contract work in the area January- April 2021. Some of the sites are a a lil different with their arrangements. Smaller sites with only 30amp services. Some have full hookups.... most dont. an no dump station in the park.

Not impressed

The campsites are cramped on one another with very little space for privacy, even though our site is fairly big in comparison to some others nearby. Old school restrooms. You don’t really get the value for your money (we paid $48 for a night, that includes $8 reservation fee and a $2 dog fee). Not…

Not very busy

We were on the way to the KOA across the creek, and saw this place. You can reserve and pay online, but they charged $8 transaction fee. No cash/checks accepted. Quiet overnight, but the road is right there for the am traffic. Level spots, paved, full hookups avail. Quirky aviary on the park.
