Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park Campground

Occupancy by the same persons, equipment, or vehicle(s) is limited as follows:

1. Individual campsites-Maximum allowable stay is fifteen (15) nights per calendar year, with no more than seven (7) consecutive nights permitted during the summer season (May 1 through September 30). After maximum allowable consecutive use has been reached no person or equipment may re-enter the park to use any camping facilities until the expiration of at least two nights (48 hours).

2. Group and Environmental campsites- Maximum allowable stay is ten (10) nights per calendar year, with no more than five (5) nights of consecutive use per visit. After maximum allowable consecutive use has been reached no person or equipment may re-enter the park to use any camping facilities until the expiration of at least two nights (48 hours).

3. Hike and Bike campsites-Maximum allowable stay is seven (7) nights per calendar year, with no more than two (2) nights of consecutive use per visit. After maximum allowable consecutive use has been reached no person or equipment may re-enter the park to use any camping facilities until the expiration of at least two nights (48 hours).

THIS CAMPGROUND HAS NO HOOK UPS.

Codes for access to your cabin are printed on the Sales Receipt (confirmation letter). If you have off-season reservations or if you are an after-hour arrival, State Park staff may not be available to assist you with your reservation. You are responsible for cabin access, and the access code is found on your Sales Receipt (confirmation letter).

Attention:  Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations 4331 states that campsites cannot be sold or resold in any unit, except as permitted by California State Parks and includes sales activities which encroach on the sales rights of a vendor authorized to sell such products, or services pursuant to a concession contract with the Department.

During the summer, Jedediah-Smith is full to capacity.  The park has very poor Wi-Fi, and they do not use the R2S2 system to book cancellations.  Purchasing a site at the park is slim.
