Occupancy by the same persons, equipment, or vehicle(s) is limited as follows:

After maximum allowable consecutive use has been reached no person or equipment may re-enter the park to use any camping facilities until the expiration of at least two nights (48 hours).

THIS CAMPGROUND HAS NO HOOK UPS.
Codes for access to your cabin are printed on the Sales Receipt (confirmation letter). If you have off-season reservations or if you are an after-hour arrival, State Park staff may not be available to assist you with your reservation. You are responsible for cabin access, and the access code is found on your Sales Receipt (confirmation letter).

Attention: Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations 4331 states that campsites cannot be sold or resold in any unit, except as permitted by California State Parks and includes sales activities which encroach on the sales rights of a vendor authorized to sell such products, or services pursuant to a concession contract with the Department.
During the summer, Jedediah-Smith is full to capacity. The park has very poor Wi-Fi, and they do not use the R2S2 system to book cancellations. Purchasing a site at the park is slim.

Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park Campground is near Crescent City, CA, surrounded by towering redwood trees and dense forest terrain. Temperatures range from 40°F to 60°F in winter and 50°F to 70°F in summer. Visitors can explore the nearby Smith River and the scenic Stout Grove, offering opportunities for hiking and nature observation.
