TravelerThis Campground is a gem. A short distance from I-20 is easy to find. Sites are paved and level. Free WiFi included. The comfort station was clean, and the showers had good pressure with plenty of Hot water.
ScoutThis place is a dump and not a safe place to camp. This town offers nothing to do and very few restaurants and shopping. Gun fire is a regular occurrence. Don’t go there
GuideLove it here, has laundry, great views, nice and quiet😍 Passing thru La, State parks are our faves. Here for 2 nights, had nice hot showers, our clothes washed, and played some golf, and explored our second day. We have water and electric, have seen some campsites with full hook up. We close to the lake, with lots of trees for shade!

GuideNice vineyard with RV sites. No bathhouse but full hookups to boondocking sites available. Very friendly staff. During our summer stay, air cannon sounds intermittently in the vineyard to protect grapes from birds during daytime. Also, bird squawking noises to deter birds from ripening grapes. The sounds were not bothersome for us humans, but our dog was not happy about it.
Guide$57 for 2 nights. Park has wifi. Our spot had 30 amp/water, a firepit, picnic table, and grill. It also had a swing! Excellent bank fishing all through the park but unfortunately we didnt catch anything. Saw lots of little bluegill and baby bass. We even rented a peddle boat ($10/hr) and tried exploring more areas. Still no bites and the peddle boat kicked our butts, it was so hot, and no shade. Bathrooms were far from most sites but have air conditioning which is uncommon.
LegendThis place is beautiful and serene. Peaceful and quiet. Tent camping in the summer is no longer for me though. Cabin or camper for summer time from now on. Tina at the office is informative and the sweetest! We loved talking with her.

ScoutI stayed at campsite 34 on the primitive side. Easy walk to the bathroom and lake. The site was flat and easy to put up a tent. I was the only person on the primitive side probably because it was during the week. I loved the solitude.
