Best Campgrounds near Scotland, AR

Old campground along pretty lake in a national forest. Clean; the grounds are well maintained. The campground is confusing. Campsites are not marked. Looks like it was initially developed as a tent campground. There are shared vehicle parking pads; sites are not actually next to these - need to walkin a little. RV campers can probably park on the parking pads and walk to nearby picnic tables. Some sites have metal fire rings and lantern poles near picnic tables. Otherwise, it appears that previous campers had open campfires. Hammock camping is possible in a few areas. Clean his/hers vault toilet with tp and hand sanitizer. Water pumps scattered throughout campground; water was turned on duirng my stay. Sites in the middle of the campground are level; others slope down a little toward the lake. Sites are grass surfaces. No tent pads. No RV driveways to individual sites. Quiet, peaceful. No fee. Day Use area with fishing pier nearby. Partial shade; solar charging and Starlink access may be a challenge. Sporadic AT&T and T-Mobile service. Overall, this is a nice campground. I was the only camper during the nights I camped hare. A local resident stopped by to check up on me.

We stayed at Landry Vineyards on a Saturday and they were quite busy. This probably accounts for why one of the owners(Libby Landry) was a bit curt. However, the other owner(Jeff Landry) was very friendly. The young woman who was working at the vineyard was also very nice. We decided to pay for a full hookup site although we ended up connecting only to electricity. The site(#3) was on the upper level and was quite scenic...a nice spot. The site was rock and not quite level since we had to use leveling blocks to avoid having the back tires of our 39 foot motorhome lifted off the ground. Directions that we received to get to the winery and to the parking site were quite detailed and appreciated. We were towing an automobile behind the motorhome. Turns to the upper level of parking sites were a bit tight, but not difficult to manage. We each enjoyed a tasting of wines and purchased a bottle of Petite Sirah to have with a cheese pizza that we ordered...Unfortunately, the server forgot to put in our order for the pizza, so we missed out on that. This was a nice stop and we would probably stop again if returning to this area.

Am amazing area for an overnight stop. The vinyard is clean and the space for parking was a great spot. Don't miss this one. Have a flight of wine and cheese sit back and enjoy.

Super cute little spot. It had plenty of space/sites for big rigs, cars, tents, and hammocks. Established bathrooms and trash receptacles. Absolutely 0 service for AT&T or Verizon. The road down there is full of huge potholes, be aware! Especially at night lol.

Absolutely beautiful. Husband was very helpful. I highly recommend this place. Very quiet and nice. Will stay there again.

My wife and I really enjoyed this get away for the weekend. The site was nice and quite. The view of the vineyard from the site was amazing. Mr. Jeff came by and greeted, even assist me by allowing me to borrow a hose to complete the hook up on my camper. The staff at the winery was very polite and friendly. Thank you all for such a great experience!!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were the only campers so it was very quiet and peaceful. The site was clean and level which is always a plus for us

We have stayed in the vineyard three times. It’s a nice drive from the interstate and a very peaceful place to spend the night. The RV sites are easy to access. The power, water, and WiFi are good. We were there in May, and twice in September.

This place was quiet and very peaceful. We had our own fishing pier at our site. The bathroom were big and clean. Had A/C and the water was extremely hot.

We arrived close to the tasting room closing time, but were able to call in an order for wine, cheese & crackers to be delivered to the campsite for a very pleasant end of a long day of driving. Very accomodating service and beautiful view of the vineyards!

We arrived around 6 p.m. and were warmly greeted by the owner, who kindly explained how to reach our site on the hill that overlooks a beautifully maintained and fruitful vineyard. Watching the sunrise over the vineyard the next morning as I strolled through the fields with our furry companion revealed the simple yet captivating beauty of the surroundings. We were so impressed by our stay that we couldn't resist ordering wine online. Highly, highly recommend this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The vineyard is beautiful and the hosts were just as lovely.  We sat down for a couple tastings and played card games in the indoor area since it was brutally hot outside.  We had a wonderful conversation with the owner who made us feel at home.  We definitely recommend this location!

this was an absolutely beautiful location, and the staff was amazing! Sites were wide and easily accessible and the Vineyard is absolutely amazing! Went in for a wine tasting and walked away with a bottle to take with me! Follow the directions to staff gives you and not the GPS if you have a big rig! Even then, the roads in were a little tight, but definitely manageable! 10 minutes off I-20 if you drive slow. I will definitely be staying here again if I’m passing through the area!

This was a great overnight stop. Very level site (6) with water and electricity. Beautiful location. Great wine, and very nice staff. I would visit again.

Love the winery and people are the best. Location to West Monroe and other sites are close. Only concern is no tornado shelter close.

The Landry’s Grape Escape was beautiful, peaceful, and the most restful night we had on our two weeks of travel across country. We highly recommend it.

We stayed overnight on a long road trip at the lovely and pristine Landry Grape Escape. It was beautiful and peaceful. We would not hesitate to stay again. Libby Landry was responsive and very helpful. We h ighly recommend the Landry Grape Escape.

We stayed in site 5 with electricity and water on a Wed. Nice level gravel pad. We have a 33' Class A with toad and it was hot so wanted the electric for the a/c. We did the wine tasting and they have about 24 varieties to choose from including 3 ports. Pick 6 for the tasting. Bought a bottle of the Cottonport port for the road. Great with chocolate or dessert.

Great gem to visit and stay overnight. Follow the hosts directions. Great wine too!

We absolutely loved our stay at Landry Vineyards. We have a 40’ fifth wheel and spent the night on site 3 with 50 amp power. The view and the peaceful setting were just magnificent! We enjoyed some pizza and cheese along with some fun music on their patio. Would definitely stay again!

The sites are absolutely beautiful, level, and have power and water. The scenery is beautiful and the wine tasting is a definite bonus. Highly recommend this place.!!!!
