Best RV Parks & Resorts near Jersey, AR

Several RV parks serve the Jersey, Arkansas region, including Silver Eagle RV Campground and Knights Landing RV Resort. Silver Eagle provides 22 sites with full hookups including water, electric, sewer, and both 30- and 50-amp service. All sites accommodate large motorhomes with big-rig-friendly access via drive-in routes. Knights Landing RV Resort features full hookup sites with electric, water, and sewer connections in a lakeside setting. "Knights Landing is very well kept. It is surrounded by three ponds full of catfish that the owners allowed us to fish in. The internet connection is the best we have experienced," according to one visitor. Flamingo Pointe RV Park at Lake Wallace offers 5 waterfront sites with full hookups, including 30/50-amp electrical service.

Seasonal availability varies across parks, with Silver Eagle operating year-round while others maintain limited winter services. Most RV parks in the area allow pets and feature trash collection. Dump stations are available at Crossett RV Park and Cane Creek State Park Campground, though not all smaller parks offer this amenity. Cell service can be unreliable at more remote locations, with one Knights Landing guest noting it has "the best internet connection we have experienced." During hunting seasons, local RV parks experience higher occupancy rates, particularly Knights Landing which one reviewer described as "good for a stop on the way to somewhere or for a hunting camp." RV sites throughout the region typically feature picnic tables and fire rings, though fire restrictions may apply during dry periods.

White Oak Lake State Park Campground

    Campsites with lake view

White Oak Lake is beautiful. Most, if not all, campsites offer a view of the lake. Spent 2 nights here in February. Only 2 other campsites occupied. Camped in a camper van. Except for nearby blasts (gunshots?) at 9am each morning, the campground was very quiet. The restroom/ shower facilities were very clean. The campsites are also clean. 30amp & 50amp service available. Fire ring, table, lantern hook, and water at each site. Good hiking trails. Tall pine trees throughout, but no privacy between campsites. Sites are close to the campground loop roads, and close together. Not sure if I would enjoy staying here during the peak season, but a good place to stay in the summer. Filks in the office were friendly & helpful. Fire is available for sale.

    Corney Lake South Shore Campground

    Wooded, Lake Views

Old campground along pretty lake in a national forest. Clean; the grounds are well maintained. The campground is confusing. Campsites are not marked. Looks like it was initially developed as a tent campground. There are shared vehicle parking pads; sites are not actually next to these - need to walkin a little. RV campers can probably park on the parking pads and walk to nearby picnic tables. Some sites have metal fire rings and lantern poles near picnic tables. Otherwise, it appears that previous campers had open campfires. Hammock camping is possible in a few areas. Clean his/hers vault toilet with tp and hand sanitizer. Water pumps scattered throughout campground; water was turned on duirng my stay. Sites in the middle of the campground are level; others slope down a little toward the lake. Sites are grass surfaces. No tent pads. No RV driveways to individual sites. Quiet, peaceful. No fee. Day Use area with fishing pier nearby. Partial shade; solar charging and Starlink access may be a challenge. Sporadic AT&T and T-Mobile service. Overall, this is a nice campground. I was the only camper during the nights I camped hare. A local resident stopped by to check up on me.

    Corney Lake South Shore Campground

    Dejected & Rejected

    FEE: FREE

    FCFS

    318-473-7160

This is a primitive campground with NO AMENITIES. There is a very small turn around at the end. There is a fire ring and suppose to be a picnic table and lantern pole that we did not find. Along the way you will pass the trailhead for the Wild Azalea Trail. A beautiful spot that is rather wild with wonderful lake views. The track in becomes just that"a track." No trash, no pit toilet, no water. You can find trash and a toilet near the South Shore boat launch. There is a trashed travel trailer that is continues to take abuse. Gives this primitive site into a trash dump. Wish is that it be remove ASAP

Lake D'Arbonne State Park — New Lake D'arbonne State Park

    Resort like State Park

Lots of amenities. Tennis courses, disc golf course, hiking/biking trails, swimming pool, cabins, lodges, several playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions & WiFi. Very reasonable sites for $23/night unless you’re in the lakeside premium sites which are more. Laundry room next to the bath house and playground. I will definitely be back.

    Chemin-A-Haut State Park

Amazing state park, sadly underfunded. Still worth a trip.

Pretty state park, swimming pool during summer, gorgeous trails on an enchanting bayou, wooded back in slots with a camp host, not much to do in Bastrop but this park is a great attraction. No sewage but there is a dump station. There is also tent camping, cabins, and equestrian camping and trails but there have been budget cuts that prevent horse trail maintenance and road repairs, so you don’t know what you’ll get sometimes. The park has playgrounds and pavilions.

Guide to Jersey

The Jersey, Arkansas region offers camping options in pine forests at approximately 200 feet elevation. The area experiences hot, humid summers with temperatures often exceeding 90°F from June through September, while winters remain relatively mild with occasional freezing temperatures. Most campgrounds stay open year-round due to the moderate climate conditions.

What to do

Fishing opportunities: Cane Creek State Park Campground features fishing in both Cane Creek Lake and Bayou Bartholomew. "Cane Creek Lake has great fishing. Clean park. Bring your own firewood," notes a camper. The park also maintains fishing docks and boat docks for angler access.

The best part for us was enjoying the sunset and sunrise out by the water with a campfire and our 2 pups," shares one visitor at Flamingo Pointe RV Park. At Cane Creek, a visitor mentions, "They have all kinds of boat rentals here including some with motors."

Hiking options: The Wild Azalea Trail near Corney Lake South Shore Campground offers scenic walks. "A beautiful spot that is rather wild with wonderful lake views," notes one hiker. However, some trails require preparation: "We went trial hiking but this was a little difficult as the walking trails aren't really maintained."

What campers like

Peaceful waterfront settings: Many rv parks near Jersey, Arkansas feature lakeside views. "We only stayed one night but we will be coming back. Another visitor notes, "Mosquitoes are terrible" during certain seasons but adds "no mosquitoes this time of year" during winter visits.

Weather considerations: Chemin-A-Haut State Park can experience flooding that affects recreational options. "Water has been high for a few months so it's ugly and not so useable.
