    Lincoln Parish Park

    Quiet Weekend with Fun Activities

We stayed at spot 32. It was a very quiet spot that had a lot of shade but still had a view of the water. Close to the restrooms but not much through traffic. Large wide spots with paved cement made it easy to park and level. Full hook ups were nice. Trash cans were at every other campsite. There are only 33 RV spots at the park so it makes for a great getaway with not a ton of people. The site had good Verizon cell service, 2 bars with about 40-50 mbps. The walking path around the lake was really nice. The bike trails were really fun. They even kayaks for rent on the lake for a reasonable price. Overall the campground had great amenities and made for a great weekend getaway. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Travel Trailer.

White Oak Lake State Park Campground

    Campsites with lake view

White Oak Lake is beautiful. Most, if not all, campsites offer a view of the lake. Spent 2 nights here in February. Only 2 other campsites occupied. Camped in a camper van. Except for nearby blasts (gunshots?) at 9am each morning, the campground was very quiet. The restroom/ shower facilities were very clean. The campsites are also clean. 30amp & 50amp service available. Fire ring, table, lantern hook, and water at each site. Good hiking trails. Tall pine trees throughout, but no privacy between campsites. Sites are close to the campground loop roads, and close together. Not sure if I would enjoy staying here during the peak season, but a good place to stay in the summer. Filks in the office were friendly & helpful. Fire is available for sale.

    Lake Claiborne State Park Campground

    BEAUTIFUL LAKE

Very pretty camping area. We stayed here at site 14. Had a long pier over the water, and plenty of space between campers. Not level ground, but we managed with enough blocks to get it level. This was a back in site. Water and electric, no sewer, but had a dump station. Absolutely no cell service. Lake Claiborne was a gorgeous lake yo kayak on.

    Lincoln Parish Park

    Wooded camping

Campground offers modern sites with tables, fire pits, electric, and water hook ups. Facilities are nearby and always clean. The campground offers privacy and is generally well shaded by trees. There is a large playground and pavilion on the facility. The park also offers some of the best mountain biking trails in the state. There is also a lake with a swimming area and a paved walking trail around it. Since the campground is not secluded there are generally no issues with using phones or accessing shopping and restaurants.

Lake D'Arbonne State Park — New Lake D'arbonne State Park

    Resort like State Park

Lots of amenities. Tennis courses, disc golf course, hiking/biking trails, swimming pool, cabins, lodges, several playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions & WiFi. Very reasonable sites for $23/night unless you’re in the lakeside premium sites which are more. Laundry room next to the bath house and playground. I will definitely be back.

    Lincoln Parish Park

    Beautiful convienent

Easy $25 for one night while traveling through west coast to east coast to relocate. We were doing hotel camping every other and this is one we decided on with its convenience to Walmart and many other food places. Ruston is also an adorable little downtown areas to explore and has that heart of Louisiana fill. It’s also close to west Monroe where Duck dynasty hometown so that was a fun plus to visit! We did stay in winter season with rain and cold. We have been tenting and enjoy being endured of all nature has so offer this has beautiful fishing hiking and a friendly camp host who was accommodating. They have wood for sale if needed. Water hookup ,electric hookup, showers bathrooms. Which we chose site 43 right next to the restroom house. I would love to come back when weather is better and we aren’t travel driving lagged to enjoy all it had to offer! You do receive a gate code when in person check in so if you book online see if you have received that too!

    Corney Lake South Shore Campground

    Wooded, Lake Views

Old campground along pretty lake in a national forest. Clean; the grounds are well maintained. The campground is confusing. Campsites are not marked. Looks like it was initially developed as a tent campground. There are shared vehicle parking pads; sites are not actually next to these - need to walkin a little. RV campers can probably park on the parking pads and walk to nearby picnic tables. Some sites have metal fire rings and lantern poles near picnic tables. Otherwise, it appears that previous campers had open campfires. Hammock camping is possible in a few areas. Clean his/hers vault toilet with tp and hand sanitizer. Water pumps scattered throughout campground; water was turned on duirng my stay. Sites in the middle of the campground are level; others slope down a little toward the lake. Sites are grass surfaces. No tent pads. No RV driveways to individual sites. Quiet, peaceful. No fee. Day Use area with fishing pier nearby. Partial shade; solar charging and Starlink access may be a challenge. Sporadic AT&T and T-Mobile service. Overall, this is a nice campground. I was the only camper during the nights I camped hare. A local resident stopped by to check up on me.
