    A fabulous overnight!

We spent the night here in our 36-foot motorhome along with our two yellow Labs. From pulling up to the tasting room, where we were warmly greeted, to the wine we enjoyed on the patio, to the lovely evening outside, and our early start in the morning, everything was perfect!

We did a wine tasting of six wines, then shared a bottle of Sangiovese and took a bottle of Mouvedre for the road. Emily was so helpful to me as I selected wines based on what we know we already like.

Overlooking the vineyards -- what a beautiful view! And the grounds are excellent for walking dogs and admiring the scenery. We were very pleased with the setting and hospitality.

    Beautiful, quiet and relaxing

We stayed at Landry Vineyards for one night.  It was only a few miles off of the highway but was very quiet and secluded.  A beautiful location.  The site was flat, we didn't even have to unhook our trailer.  We will definitely stay again when passing through the area.

    Beautiful Place

This a gem in hiding in N. Central Louisiana! The site was amazing - nestled in the back of a vineyard, on the top of a hill. Originally, our site said it was set up for motorized RVs with the hookups set to drive into the site. However, when we arrived (with our 30 foot TT) we found hookups on BOTH sides of the site, making it that much easier for us to hook up. Speaking of hook ups, our site had full hookups - water, electricity, and sewer. The winery was fantastic! We took a tour of the facility, guided by the winemaker and owner. Well worth it. The wines are great, so much so that we left with 6 bottles!

If you’re looking for a weekend getaway, or even some place to stop for the night while on your journey, we highly recommend the Grape Escape!

We've stopped at Landry Vineyards on our travels, at least a half dozen times.  This alone can tell you how much we love it there.  This time however, was even better!  We were able to time it to coincide with a Saturday afternoon/evening event there at the vineyard and it was spectacular.  We met up with Libby Landry upon arrival and she was an incredible host that got us situated at a spot right near the tasting area.  We opted for the water/electric hookups and within minutes, we were seated and enjoying live music and fantastic wines.  I tried one of their best sellers, a blackberry merlot and was not disappointed and my wife's favorite (chocolate raspberry) is her favorite.  Later on, a bagpipe group showed up and played out under the portico and the crowd (which was huge) thoroughly enjoyed their performance.  As the evening wound down, we just enjoyed the wonderful views of the vineyard and knew in our hearts, that we'll be back again.  If you haven't made the stop at this place, you've truly missed out.  Stop and see Jeff and Libby and the beautiful place they've built.
