Devil’s Den is an oasis of trails and amenities. We hiked their awesome namesake trail in about an hour—Interesting paved stairs and pathways lead you to lovely little spots and views including a trio of hidden waterfalls. Bathrooms and sites are roomy at campsite A. BUT STAY ALERT: We had many…
We’ve camped at Tenkiller State Park once before and stayed in Shady Grove (rv area). This time we camped in Blue Jay on top of the hill. There was an issue with the power on the side of the loop we were on and we were not informed before we got there. They did offer to let us stay and refund our…

Lots to keep the kids busy, we had a really good time. Campsites are pretty close together though so we didn’t have the space or privacy we like but I know we will go back.
Nice park with clean bathrooms. Lots of hiking trails.
There are some good reviews here so I will just add a few extra notes. First and foremost if you are travelling on I 49 and your camper is longer than 25' it is highly recommended that you take exit 53 (170) exit. There are fewer tight turns for maneuvering big rigs. Second we camped in…
We were in site one. Check-in was easy except all the signs said reserved-but i don’t think they take reservations. Bathrooms were fine and trash bins were handy.
Beautiful views - helpful staff - clean bathhouse - reasonable prices.

This is just a day park
This is a very nice state park that mostly offers hiking and beautiful views. We stayed in our camper, but there is a beautiful lodge and a good restaurant here as well. The hike up to the highest point in Arkansas is easy and family friendly for kids. Campground and bathhouse were well…
The campgrounds was amazing and the store staff was decently friendly but the owner and his wife where rude and being nasty I went to have my dgter Birthday and they charged everyone that wanted to enjoy her day $10 not a carload A PIECE my son has ptsd so we brought his service animal which is…
We were here mid March on a rainy windy day. It felt too eerie visibility barely enough to see the next 10 ft probably. The windy road, fog, wind and rain made it feel like being in one of Stephen King's novel.
But, the next day the sun came out and all was well. The visitor center is rich with…

We love Lake Fort Smith State Park. Lots of places to hike and explore, beautiful lake, and very nice camp sites. Peaceful!! One of our most favorite places to camp. Well maintained, clean, nice bathhouse and friendly staff. We go whenever we can!

Several RV people running generators all night long. Lots of trash, not the best maintained. In theory $10/night but not worth paying for and very few campers did it appears. Has a prison style shower, blistering harsh spray but ice cold. Bathrooms were pretty dirty.
Great park with beautiful trails, caves, a plethora of wildlife, and lots of CCC history. This park offers everything from primitive, hike-in camping to cabins and everything in between (including a full hook-up area). Park also has a pool. Remember, if pulling a camper, take exit 53, do NOT go…

Very nice park! Did not expect it to be so picturesque! Very well kept. Campground AAA sites (1-20) offer full hook-ups and are spread out for privacy and offer longer pads. Site 4 is my favorite. Camp B sites are quite short but perfect for tent camping. The visitor's center is EXTREMELY nice and…
