Very clean and restful place! Everyone was friendly and helpful if needed!
Was very peaceful relaxing experience. Lots to do eat if you like riding bikes. Beautiful place to take a couple days off or a week or so.
Oak Mountain is great for camping, hiking, biking, fishing, water sports and golf . You can even catch a concert at the amphitheater!
Easily one of my favorite campgrounds to visit. Plenty of trails to walk or ride and just a great place to get away from town.

Great, quiet campground. Clean bathrooms and a great place for kids to ride bikes. Lots of shade! We were here visiting family for a few days and would definitely come back
This is a really great option super close to the racetrack. The facilities are really nice and the staff takes great care of the space. They even have a dog run to let your pets run around. I don't know if it would be my first choice if I were tent camping but with an RV it is a wonderful place to…

Oak Mountain State Park is a fantastic destination. However the campground isn’t the best. Loop A is better than Loop B. Loop B has limited trees. Both loops have old bathroom facilities. They are clean but old. Loop B RV sites are oriented so that to sit around the fire you are basically…
Sites are kinda tight but everyone was very friendly and nice to talk to. The vendors in the art cabins was very nice and had amazing work. Any thing you need is at the store also drinks food and simple rv necessities and firewood. And a lot of history and hiking.
Very happy at this campground. But there aren't many campers here. I think they are at the main campground. But regular RV campers are allowed at the Equestrian center. We are close to the farm/petting zoo. Also the horses are next to the campground. Very quiet and reasonably priced.

Although we didn’t get a chance to stay the night here on the most recent visit we had an incredible time exploring the lake and beach areas. We also had a chance to wander around the camping area and check out what is available. The lake itself is not enormous but perfect for those who prefer a…

We stayed at the equestrian campground at Oak Mountain. It was very nice and quiet. Once you go through the gate take your first left and keep driving. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't get to see everything they have at the park. We want to go back!
We needed a campground close to the hwy for a quick overnight stay. Big mistake. It smelled like dead animals so badly that we had hold our breath at times bc of the smell. We thought the playground would be good for our girls, but between the overgrown weeds and the smell, they couldn’t even…
Our campsite was wonderful. When we started to kayak there was a ton of trash in the water but eventually the water started moving and cleared it out. Probably had something to do with the dam. We found what looked like it could have been a hiking trail but it was overgrown.
We stayed at a great waterfront site, which was amazing, and had full hookups. (Although it did get full sun in the afternoons, which was warm) Some of the other sites are W/E only and some are not as great. The park buildings and docks are a bit dated, but the staff was very nice. The lake is…

This is a must visit park. Plan to stay at least 3 days. The campground is very nice. The bathrooms and showers need some maintenance, but overall it's nice. There are many activities for everyone of all ages and abilities. They have a Gulf course, an interactive farm, wildlife area with animals,…
