Great for an Overnight Stay

Safe Harbor RV Park was convenient and perfect for an overnight stay. Spaces are long and level. No extras, no picnic tables, no shower houses, however everyone was friendly, and we had no issues with the water/sewer/electric. Wifi and internet weren't great, but we were tired and not interested in watching TV anyway. Some road noise but it didn't keep us awake. Seems to be lots and lots of permanent residents there and just a few travelers coming and going. We'd stay here again if we're passing through. The owner at check-in recommended The Ark restaurant to us, which is within walking distance. We ate there and it was delicious. We appreciated the recommendation.

Great boat access

This is a classic RV campground that is along the Coosa River and provides easy access for launching a boat. Although they don't allow tent camping they have nice amenities for those traveling in an RV or other campervan. Overall, the rates are very reasonable and the location is great. There is not a lot of privacy but it is an ok trade for having such easy access to I20.

Spot by the lake

Nice place. Quiet park with some highway noise. Didn't use any amenities. Don't think there's much. Cable. We would return with kayaks and enjoy the lake.

Nice owners, a quick stop

The owners are very friendly. Great helpers. The campground has overflow parking where we were set. Not much of amenities, don't expect much of camping feel, the lake spots are mostly seasonal people. You can use your boat in the 4min away docking area. They come and do your sewer for you. There is a great Asian restaurant near by. Biggest city 30 minutes away. National Park 40 minutes.
