Today’s #GetOutAndGO destination is Boom Island Park, located on the bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN.

While Minneapolis is surrounded by wonderful places to explore, we shouldn’t overlook the nearly 70 parks inside city limits. Boom Island is an awesome opportunity to fit in a quick adventure after a day at work, or during a weekend exploring what Minneapolis has to offer.

Features of the 22-acre park include the famed mini lighthouse, a walking trail, and some of the best skyline views of the city.
