Beautiful and everyone is welcome

I’ve been camping at this RV park since I was a young child, and have watched it develop and become larger over the years but it certainly has not lost its amazing charm. There’s something for everyone, and where everyone is respected and appreciated by the local family ownership. If you haven’t…

Nice getaway location

Semi private & large tent sites. Medium size beach and dock to launch kayaks at. Fish weren’t biting for us this weekend!

Nice campground, Busy lake

Campground is beautiful nestled in the hills of Catoctin Mountain. Only 30 minutes north of Frederick. There is a lot of beautiful trails in the area and a man-made lake with two swimming area beaches. The last couple years they have had issues with Alge and have low lake levels. Good for kayaking…

Outstanding State Park!

With large, private sites this campground is perfect for camping!  We never heard from the neighbors and I don't believe our constant activity created a problem for them either.  The sites were made of crushed rock, very flat, and the RV sites included water, electricity, a picnic table, poles for…

  • Plenty of wildlife including deer, rabbits, snakes, and a multitude of lizards. Not too buggy at all!
  • The Shenandoah River from a great view point in the park.
  • There are a couple of awesome fields that are very busy in the early morning and at dusk.

Nice park

This is a nice park, close to home with a lake. We like to picnic and go fishing. There are nice trails, volleyball areas, and playgrounds.

Nice place

Little Bennett has spacious RV and tent sites as well as cabins and yurts. It's very clean and well maintained. Lots of hiking within the park and many activities for kids. We were very impressed by their covid safety. Will be back!

Buen lugar para acampar una noche.

Es un lugar muy organizado y limpio, tiene todos los servicios en orden. Personalmente prefiero lugares mas silvestres, pero es un buen lugar para 1 noche.

Lovely but traffic noise ruins it

We camped here with family two days in April. The tent sites are fine, maintained with hard gravel tent spots. Each site is a good size and spaced apart for privacy. The bathrooms were clean. Water spigots and even a dish clean out area made it lovely (the dishes sink was closed for the season…

Large, level and well spaced.

Some of the largest sites we’ve ever seen in a state park. I don’t believe there is a bad site in the park. We had rabbits grazing at our site too. Shenandoah NP is about a 10 mile drive away.

Top stay "so far"

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. This quickly became our top stay “so far” of the trip. Spent 5 nights. Private wooded setting, hardly anyone there, amazing hiking (you can hike to the PA border!) and mountain biking right from the site. And the…

Too bad I had to leave

Loved it! I’d love to spend a week here some time. There is no bad site in this campground. Immaculate upkeep. Lots of walking and hiking trails. Verizon has no signal at all, but AT&T was fine. Clean bathrooms, large showers, dump station. Water and electric on site but no sewer connection.…

Amazing Campground!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this campground in March of 2021. We went to the area to visit Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park.

We stayed in site #11. The sites weren't right on top of each other, but you could definitely see other sites across the road. There were a few that caught my…
