One of our favorites!

Gettysburg Battlefield Resort is a membership resort. As such, it has a great pool, most of the sites are level, and nice bathhouse facilities. It also has a lake and cabins available. The store is well stocked, there is a small snack bar that offers hand dipped ice cream and snacks, a few basic grocery items, and t shirts and camping supplies. There is also a large playground with a play set, Gaga ball court, basketball court, volleyball, shuffleboard, arcade, and a pavilion for activities. The main building also has a nice common areas and a kids activity area complete with a wooden camper play set your kids can crawl around in.

All sites have water and electric, but not all are 50 amp sites. About half the sites have sewer, but there are two dump stations that are centrally located and easy to get to. Make sure to bring your leveling blocks, some sites do have a slope to them of 3-4”.

All in all, I love this campground. It’s convenient, well kept, nice amenities, and most of the people who come here are owners so they are nice. You can get a few nights of “free camping” if you sit through the sales presentation. We purchased the membership here, and overall we are very happy with it.

Historic and Fun

We have been members at the Gettysburg battlefield resort campground for over 10 years. They have tons to do as the family. During the summer may have different themed weekends and fun activities for the whole family. In the fall they have Halloween weekendsThere pool is fantastic and so is the playground for the kids and it's an easy ride to the battlefield.
