Just ok

Huge campground. Lots of activities. But very run down. Lots of permanent RVs. All parked very close. On the river but totally overgrown so no real view. Safe for one night. Overpriced at $70

This place is nice. Ignore the negatives

This was a really nice place. Perhaps the price is higher than people were hoping for, but we were on the Shenandoah river with river access.

There is a pool though 2020 coronavirus means its not open every day, but not their fault. There are playgrounds and open fields and it is very nicely kept. The upper area does have lots a bit close so if you have an RV I recommend the back area right on the river.

It's OK.

The only 2 good things I found were the friendly staff and the nicer dog run area. Otherwise, the place is pretty run down and very crowded. I wouldn't do an extended stay here again.

Late June 2019

First time visiting North Fork, didn’t explore as much as I wanted to, Campers are tightly parked next to one another, was invited by my Uncle to come have a good time and enjoy the atmosphere, go tubing down the river. They had some bands playing that weekend as well. I’ll need to return sometime and look around a little more.

Nice

I have mixed feelings about this campground, you are really packed tight with other campers. but they do have lots of amenities and camping right on the river. The shower houses were mobile units but I love the big field in the valley

Expensive

Stopped here for a tent site. And the cost was almost $60 a night. They do offer discounts for some associations but I wasn’t a member of any.

Love this place!

We began our membership here this June. it has a great atmosphere on the banks of the Shenandoah River. There are activities every weekend like concerts and group activities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and very convenient. Pet friendly; two dog parks.
