Fantastic campground!

Beautiful campground on the Spokane River. Hiking and biking trails from the campground. Vintage CCC buildings and suspension bridge. Very nice and clean bathrooms and showers.

8 miles in and worth it!

We like the more remote and peaceful campgrounds. We took a chance and got off the i-90 at cataldo and drove 8 miles into the woods. The road started out paved then went to a nice gravel road in the last 2 miles were pretty bumpy. Then we arrived at lost moose campground. Peaceful and in the woods.…

Cool car camp spot

It’s an old KOA that got brought back to life by a new business. Cool car/tent spots. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Host Leaves Room for Improvement

A friend and I popped in for a night so due to being nearby Horseshoe Lake where we planned to kayak the following day. The site was super easy to find and accessible being right off hwy 2, and no one camping but us, so very surprised by how open and available the sites were. Enjoyed the spacious…

Super cute campground

Small quiet campground, very clean, fun atmosphere. Host was great and messaged us and made sure we knew how to get there. There is an airport near by but I only heard one plane during our stay! Would love to stay here longer next time!

Well kept, lots of things to do and beautiful views

This park has a lot of options. You can swim, boat, SUP, mountain bike, and hike. There are a few campaign areas. We stayed in Gilmore with a combination of tents and RVs there. The sites are nice and pretty well spaced out. The restrooms are well kept also. T-Mobile gets no coverage in the park.…

Beautiful area, campsites can be crowded

The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of hikes to go on that have beautiful views. The campsite area was clean including bathroom and showers. Water and electric hook-up all worked great (reserveamerica says site 49 does not have water but it does).

Site 49 is on the inside of the loop…

Beautiful

NOTE: Campground is NOT a Drive-in. You can Boat in, Park on road, or Hke in only. The sites are flat and quiet. A secret gem for sure.

What's not to love

If you have never stayed at a Corp of Engineers Park, you will quickly wonder why not. The price for a site is very reasonable, especially with services. As others have mentioned there is a lot to do. There is 2 boat launch, fishing, walking trails shaded sites....gravel and level. tenting…

Nice free spot near Spokane

Not really a destination campground, although the old barn buildings are neat to look at, but nice if you're looking for a free spot by Spokane. A short drive from the highway on dirt roads manageable in any car. A few other campers but easy to find a spot. Pit toilet was fairly clean and good…

Dusty and windy

This is great for boondocking and we liked it. Be aware that its gravel road and bumpy in spots. We came upon a group that had high centered their airstream trailer trying to cross a small drainage ditch to access a site. You may need to do some tricky maneuvering to get into and out of some of…

Pressure washing RVs well into the evening ??

This is a very nice camp ground on the lake and it’s very beautiful only problem is they allow a pressure washing RV service into the park all day and we’ll into the evening so unless you like listening to a small gas engine run do not use this park

Great for a Quick Weekend Trip

We were able to get a campsite just a few days before our trip. That was great because this was a last minute plan. The campsites are very well maintained. Facilities and dump sites are super clean. The visitors center is close by.

Lots of dogs and kids. But it was surprisingly quiet at…
