Best RV Parks & Resorts near St. John, WA

This is a well populated, well maintained adorable site. It’s secure with a gate and even has a mini golf course inside. Can not stress enough how safe and clean it is, we absolutely loved it’s manicured gardens for an RV Park. While we typically prefer to stay in more remote and private primitive sites, for an RV resort, this by far and away exceeded anything we have come across so far

This little campground/RV resort is just off a freeway & lots of trains travel close by....BUT, if u live nearby & are up for a last minute camp trip, this place satisfies! I don't fish, but I'm told they catch em off the docks. The host keeps things real clean/nice looking, and I'll bet u can almost always find a spot for a tent, and without a reservation!

This is a newer RV park in Liberty Lake. They have only been open 2 years. Liberty Lake is between Spokane, WA and Coeur d’Alene ID. There are about 130 spaces or so, with concrete pads and paved streets. There is grass between sites, but they are much too close to be comfortable, and there is no shade! And, the rules!!! Lots more rules than most other camping areas.’ It also appears many of the residents are semi-permanent. They have free cable snd wifi, a dog park, playground, swimming pool, laundry, and dump station. The sites are 30/50 amp, most are pull through but the outer ring is back in. They also have propane. They are on the pricy side: an outside loop 50 ft. Site is $74/night. Good Sam gets you a 10% discount. It is easy access to I-90 both East and west.

This is my second visit to Liberty Lake Regional Park. After 4 years, it’s still a great park, if a little older. There are about 18 RV sites, all with water and 30amp electric, and 2 full hookup sites up on the hill. There are also about 15 tent sites, and a group site. The road coming into the campground is steep and narrow with a sharp turn at the end so larger RVs would have a problem. Also, the sites are not level. Some RV owners had to Jack up the front to get level. The bathrooms are clean, if a little worn. We came to visit grandkids, and they enjoyed Liberty Lake as well. There is lots of shade, a swimming beach, playground and picnic area. There are also several hiking trails that start at the campground. UN

....The Campground and RV Park, located on Sprague Lake, just 36 miles west of Spokane, WA along I-90 and only 2 miles out of the town of Sprague, on a quiet paved road. (See our map) We are normally open from the 1st of April to the end of November.

....At Sprague Lake Resort, you can enjoy some of the best shore Fishing on the lake. The Resort is surrounded by springs that make this THE dock fishing spot for big (and tasty) Trout, Steelhead and even Bass. Sprague Lake is also known for it's big Channel Cats!

....If fishing isn't your thing, you can Camp or just picnic and relax under the big old Cottonwoods that shade our park. Bird watchers can enjoy sightings of White Pelicans, Meadowlarks, Cormorants, Loons, Wood Ducks and many other species.

....In our park under the trees, we have plenty of tent camping space and 31 full service hookups for your recreational vehicles. The endless shoreline offers a wonderful view from every RV or Camping site.

I spent one night here at the Bowl & Pitcher area. I was in the tent area with no hook-ups, but the lower area for RVs looks much nicer. It's very close to the day use area, so lots of people coming through on a Sunday. No privacy between sites, but a super nice park with lots of hiking, right on the beautiful Spokane river and super close to town.

Lots of full hookups RV sites. There are rooms in the lodge also. This is a family resort with all the amenities. The only catch is that everyone is nude. Great if that is or might be your thing.

I’ve been in search of local winter camping spots. I’ve never paid so much for a tent site in my entire life. It’s important to note that even though it says it’s an RV Park there are tent spots offered here.

I think the price is high just because it’s in touristy location.

There were enough trees to set up our hammocks!

The biggest thing I disliked about this site is that the 30 dollars they charges us was not enough. They will charge an additional 3 dollars per head and 5 dollars for an additional car.

If you go in a group like we did, that really adds up. 🥵

There was a playground on site but other than that it’s nothing special.

The park manager was very social. I don’t mind but if you want privacy you may want to stay at a different location. My partner likes the privacy camping brings. We will never return, but if you have safety concerns with children, I can see this as being a bonus.
