      Manchester State Park Campground

      Cute little state park but could use some updates at sites

      Stayed here for 3 days at the start of March. Beautiful weather. We tow a 26ft travel trailer and reserved pull through site 3 which was nice and open and had lots of room for our trailer and tow vehicle. It needed a bit of leveling off on one side but nothing drastic. Walking the loop I'd say it was one of the best sites for a larger travel trailer that was also mostly level. The site is a bit of a walk to the restroom so if this matters to you, just know that. The park is on the smaller side but it makes great use of space. It was quiet and everyone kept their dogs leashed. Park host was very accessible and friendly. There is a dump station with potable water and our site also had water/electric (no sewer). Cell service worked great and we didn't have to use our starlink although our site was more open than others so I think it would've worked. If you have an EV there is a fast charging station at Fred Meyer about 17 minutes away.

      We are long term RV campers here at Cascades. It is a lovely RV resort with large concrete pads with astroturf lawn and picnic table. Everyone is friendly. Nightly noise is never excessive. Gracie’s place is an onsite cafe that serves food, alcohol, deserts, coffees, and other drinks. You can get package delivery just no USPS. They do offer monthly discounts. Would highly recommend for anyone in an RV.

      This is very much an RV park and not really a campground. Seems like a clean little park, but right in the middle of Lynnwood, so if you are looking for a rural setting this isn't for you. 

      They offer weekly and monthly rentals, so this is more of a long-term sort of place.

      Blue Sky RV Park

      Awesome park

      We reserved a space for 1 night the day before. Great communication with Brett, everything went really smooth. The facilities are great and very clean, the park very quiet. There are a lot of big rigs parked there, some of the pm long-term as it seems. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit again.

      Cedar Glen RV Park

      great long-term or quick on the way

      There are several long term campers here. The grounds are kept immaculate and they regularly update the sites.  They hang wreaths for the winter holidays. Lawns mowed weekly. 

      All are level gravel. All have grass area, some with patio pad. There is a dog walk area and they are currently creating a dog fenced area at the end orf the two rows. 

      A caretaker is on site and will often help guide rigs into the sites (all are back-in). 

      Close to Poulsbo (a cute, Norwegian heritage town), Seattle ferry via Bainbridge Island and just over an hour to the Olympic National Park via the Hood Canal Bridge.

      Private and quiet RV parking

      Loved this campground

      Really nice campground that had everything we were looking for in an RV resort.  Nice paved and level sites that can accommodate any size RV. Some of the best features are the heated swimming pool, large clubhouse for gatherings with comfortable seating and a super large tv, free dryers in the laundry and a decent amount of space between sites.  All the roads and campsites are paved with grass in between.  The patios are paved but very small and not in a great location for our class A motorhome (better suited for towables with their doors farther back). The free public beach access is a short 5-minute drive away but beware this parking lot fills up quickly. Or, drive to Bishop Road where there are a few spaces but great access. Another alternative is to pay the entrance fee at nearby Topsail Hill Preserve State Park ($6/carload) and take the free shuttle.  The state park beach is usually less crowded than other public beaches (and you can take paddleboards on the shuttle or rent them/ kayaks/beach chairs/umbrellas at the state park). The campground does offer a free shuttle which is another great option. We found the utilities worked well. The campground and facilities are very clean and well-cared for.  Nice pool if you don't want to take the trouble to go to the beach (although they are amazing).  There are plenty of hiking opportunities at Point Washington State Forest and Topsail Hill and Grayton Beach State Parks. The biggest cons are that there are no shade and no picnic tables. The patios are paved but somewhat small and not always convenient to your front door.

      Riverbend Campground

      Nice campground with friendly staff

      Interesting the other review was for a first time out with their travel trailer!  Same for us!

      We got site 106 which was the furthest one out, it was right along the river.  The site has a concrete slab and fit our Jayco 174BH perfectly.  

      This site does is a back in, but the slab is at a 90 degree angle from the drive.  So you will have to back your trailer around a corner if you plan to park it on the slab.  Didn't see other sites like this.  

      The campground did have a very small selection of items to buy, but mainly snacks.  They do fill propane tanks, but only during week days.

      The site had water and electrical, but no sewer connections.  they do have a nice dump station.

      The camp ground itself did have at least 2 pet areas neither are fenced so a leash is required, along with a playground for the kids.

      We have Verizon and had no issues with cell signal at this campground.

      Also, this is a private campground, so they have a guy that stands at the gate to open it when guests come arrive.

      Elkamp Eastcreek

      Best place in Washington state

      This is the cleanest, most cared for camping site I have ever been to. The owners Tom and Brian, make your stay very enjoyable. They care about you having a great experience, whether you’re a first time camper or a seasoned camper. They have a great store with snacks, wine, beer, and local sourced goods. They have games you can use while you are there, like corn hole and board and card games, free of charge. Sites are large for travel trailers and motor homes, they also have tent and group sites. Trailer and motor home sites have power and water, there is a dump station you can use on your way home free of charge. The bathrooms are large and very clean, the shower is 4 quarters for 6 minutes, those of us who try to take a 3 minute shower in our rigs so we don’t run through all the hot water so our partner can have a shower without waiting for the water to get hot again it’s a blessing. In the evening Tom or Brian drive through the park seeing if anyone needs ice or firewood, if there’s not a burn ban, bring a propane fire pit for your camping experience. They also sell propane so no fears on running out. The best thing is you are under a large canopy of trees which helps to keep you cool even on the hottest days. There is a small creek to put your chair in and put your feet in the water. Our first year there we brought 4 other people, this year it was 28. We make Elkcamp our yearly get together. Family friendly and a great place to unwind. You’re only a few miles from mineral lake, bring your trunks, inner tube, or your paddle boards. I’d give it a solid 10 out of 10.

      Evergreen Coho SKP Park

      For Escapee members only

      Wonderful RV park for long term Escapee-ers or members just passing through. We stopped here for a night, arriving on the weekend with no prior reservations or contact with them. They make it easy for you to self register when they're closed on weekends, just go up to the office and take one of their welcome packets. 

      We stayed in a dry camp site for only $7.50, and paid $5 for the dump (dump is only for members as well). FHU sites are around $33 depending on in-season/off-season, but I don't know how we would have figured out which sites were available. There are so many activities and amenities here for the long termers (I believe it's a 55+ park), I couldn't even list them all. 

      Showers and laundry were clean and efficient. There's a dog park and a dog walking path (there are signs everywhere about not letting your dog pee or poo on their nice plants). Cell service was good and they have good wifi as well. This would definitely be a spot we'd stop at again when we're in the area next.
