Reserved a water/electric site only to be near a bathhouse. Traveling with a toddler equals twice the mess.
Site was a decent size because it accommodates RVs. The site was crushed rock, which wasn't ideal but it was quiet even throughout.
Bathhouse looked like it was fairly new. Loved…

I’d rate this campsite 3.5 stars if I could. It has a lot going for it. The roads are paved up to the last mile, which turns to a well maintained gravel road, so no need for an off roading vehicle. Look out for potholes though—the paved roads were sprinkled with large ones that come out of nowhere.…
My wife and I love coming to the big meadows campground. They are awesome. They get full quickly so make sure you reserve your campground wayy in advance! I recommend the D loop campgrounds they’re more into the nature I would say. Very quiet at night and very relaxing.
Nice large campground with 2 handicapped sites close to the bathroom. Camp store where you can buy firewood, ice, and most anything you may have forgotten. Campsites are fairly well spread apart, most have a patch of woods between them. Bear boxes are at some of the sites for storing your food.…
This campground has some of the nicest facilities of any campground I've stayed at. We camped in a trailer on a site without hookups. At this time of the year, it wasn't very busy. They provide firewood on the honor system. It's a short walk from the brewery.
Overall this could be a great park. Everything needs a new coat of paint. And the wifi is just not working then need a new router. Hot tubs were great. Some sites need to be more level I had to lower my nose all the way down and still not level.
The good: excellent trail to Overall Run Falls and quick drive to Elkwallow Wayside. Sites are tight but enough brush that you don’t feel your neighbor is on your doorstep. The generator free sites and those to the Northeast side of the campground have walk in tent area that will make you feel even…
If you're a glamper this is your place. Staff is nice. Store is nice as well.
This was a short overnight for me just to get my camper organized for a longer trip. I love the Shenandoah national park. Check in was easy - there were plenty of spots to choose from - no hookups here - I circled and picked spot 57 - a quiet wooded site. The bathrooms were reasonably clean- the…
This is our 3rd time staying here on our travels. Sites are nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Civil War history and sites are very interesting. And the Caverns right at the campground are very beautiful! Would recommend at least 3 nights to get it all in.
We found this campground via a great YouTube video. Drove in shortly after Ida hit so it was washed out (gravel issues). Glad I had 4WD because I needed it to get my camper into the site. Site c35 was private but sloped. Many other sites looked bigger and flatter. Lots of pull throughs and big rigs…
Really impressed. I’m used to KOAs being very tight. Not so much here, it’s just right. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
I love loft mountain. after two years of tent camping, upgraded to see teardrop this year. I always meet great people there and the staff is wonderful (Paula and Lori shout out)
There is no wifi and very little cellular coverage, but we've employed a cellular amplifier and now work remote there…

The campsites are nice and shaded, not TOO close to neighbors. The lake beach was a great time for our kids, and we rented a paddle boat and tandem kayak and all had a blast. The picnic tables, playground, and snack bar at the "beach" were great amenities as well!
Well run, clean, organized camp. Level sites. Nice fishing pond they deliver ice and fire wood and pick up trash from ur site b
