Beautiful, and peaceful

This campground is just far enough off the highway for easy access to it's peace and quiet. It's also apparently quite large, but we couldn't tell based on our site and the space and woods around us. Plus there are caverns right on site that you can tour. There are also some awesome roads to…

Great campsites and clean facilities

This was our first time camping and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to start. The campsites were well kept and it looked like each site was a close walking distance to a bathroom, dumpster, and potable water. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Good campground

Nice place, no wifi, cell phone service is limited. Most sites have no hookups. Has bear lockers.

Not your average campground!

We have stayed here several times. Big beautiful paved sites with furniture to boot. Complete with gas grills and outdoor sinks. Plenty to do at the resort..... Kayak, putt putt, tennis, swim in one of the pools, hot tub, work out in the gym, walk on trails, ride horses, take a carriage ride or eat…

First time in SNP

Beautiful campground, with easy access to great hiking. Showers, and toilets were nice, and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.....I was in a pop up tent in my truck, and it was great.

Enjoyable and plenty to do

Enjoyed our stay here at Endless Caverns. They have a cavern tour on site which was really great. The first site we were at was towards the bottom of a steep hill so backing in was a little tricky. The site itself (C20) was very unleveled so that was a pain to set up. Once it was though, it was…

Consistently an excellent place to camp!

This is the second time we have taken the grandchildren camping at Big Meadows in SNP.  They absolutely love to camp, and really enjoy Big Meadows!

Emmy is 6 and Nathan is 3, which are excellent ages to camp.  Our site this time was in a better spot and they were able to ride their bikes in…

Lovely Place

This is a wonderfully priced spot nestled in the middle of some great outdoor adventure opportunities.

We stayed in the mountain view cabin lower level with our two dogs. The upstairs neighbors were probably as quiet as they could be but you could still hear them walking around and using the…

Beautiful late spring camping

With the ability to access beautiful hikes (some along the AT) through fields of wildflowers and down to waterfalls this is a great hikers campground. Simple walk over to the lodge if you do want some of the nicer things like a nice restaurant meal with a view. Read site description before booking…

Fun rustic campground

Stokesville campground is a little rough around the edges but offers access to lots of miles of trails in George Washington National Forest. There is an awesome swimming hole on the North River, Four miles of flow mountain bike trails inside the campground with endless miles of trails just…

Big fun for the Kids!

We stayed in site 150 (premium pull through) which was closer to the amenities. This is a very walkable campground though. The bulk of the sites were fairly close in my opinion except for the ones in the very back (Mountain View I believe) As with any Jellystone, most of the sites were very…

Great place to stay!

Great campsite $15/night. About 1/3 reservation and 2/3 first come first served. It is a site that attracts hikers especially, as it is adjacent to the Appalachian trail. Bear boxes are at each site too, which is very convenient especially at a walk in site!

If you can, get site #20. It is the…

Well maintained campground.

Nicely laid out and well maintain campground. Fellow campers and hikers are nice, great rangers, and clean bathroom and shower ($1.75/5min) facilities, bring quarters or $1s and $5s for getting change in the machine to use in the showers and laundry. No atm or cash back in camp store. All the…

Campground was ok

Campground was fair, nice flat sites, semi wooded. Grass wasnt cut anywhere around our site and camp hosts were not our favorite. Beach was absurdly busy.
