State Trust Lands Courthouse Wash Block previously included this dispersed camping area near Moab, where campers could access multiple undeveloped sites spread across open terrain. The dirt access road requires high clearance vehicles, with sandy conditions at the entrance that have caused problems for sedans and some SUVs. Sites were spaced over 100 feet apart across the area, providing natural separation between camping spots.
When operational, the area offered no amenities—no tables, fire rings, or water sources. Campers found level ground for tent and RV setup, with Verizon cell service reported at two bars. The location provided access to nearby mountain biking and hiking trails, including connections to the Klondike Bluffs trail system.
