Not what we expected but not all bad

After reading the reviews, we were excited to come here.

When we got here the staff was great but the spots were a lot smaller than expected. There's a spray painted line that separates you from the other camper in the same lane as you.

They provide benches but the gravel area that your bench is…

Great spot for more easygoing camping

Beautiful area. Water accessible just a few steps from the site, dumpsters a short drive away, bathrooms basic but well-maintained. Sites were close together, but felt private, and it was surprisingly quiet. There's a swimming area nearby with trails and other areas to explore. All the good stuff…

Beautiful location, but bring everything you might need

I have a small SUV, so I buy firewood and fill up water containers after I've set up camp. I usually expect a decent drive to find what I need, but this involved a very long drive down a rutted gravel road, out of the canyon, and back to Grantsville. I think it was 40 minutes each way.

Great Place

We had a great time overnight here. The pools were super refreshing. There were two, one seemed to naturally be for adults, the other for kids. Don't know if that happens often, but it was nice. Two hot tubs too! After that there was a movie playing across from our camping spot. It wasn't loud or…

Nice place

Clean... a bit busy... lots of folks biking and walking on the public trail next to campground... but not noisy. Provo River runs through it.
Highly recommend! Make a reservation for sure.

Nice CG

Very nice campground. Lots of trees, level pull-thru sites, FHU, store, laundry room (weak dryers). Helpful staff.

Amazing view with animals

We got a pull through site and it had a beautiful view of the lake. It’s very quiet here, no hook ups and can only use the generator during certain hours. The sites are spaced far apart. At night you can hear some animals howling and in the daytime you can see antelope and bison. It’s a beautiful…

Typical KOA

Easy on and off the freeway if you are traveling through. Sites are close and small. Great view of the the mountains. Pool, playground and clubhouse for kids.

It’s a graveyard

Used this GPS to find this location. What a surprise to find it is a graveyard. I did find the exact site though a few miles down the road

Huge park, lots of family activities

Nice facilities (bathrooms, showers, laundry) and amenities, but very crowded with lots of families. I recognize that we are probably not the target demographic for this RV resort as a couple with no kids, so it was a little bit much for us, but could see this as a great spot for families and big…

Sites are very close together

The staff here was great and they had decent facilities. The biggest issues were that the sites are on top of each other and the campground is close to a busy road.

Decent Stay for passing through

This is a nicely kept campground with clean restrooms and 2 pools. The reason for lower rating is the proximity to the highway.

Great one night stay

We stopped for one night while heading to Capitol Reef. The front desk was very friendly, they are in the office until 9pm. It's very easy on/off the freeway, so there is freeway noise but not significant. The bathrooms were clean, a bit of a maze to get to. We did not use the wifi as our visit was…
