GuideQuiet, yet close to San Antonio. It’s only a few miles of I35, but feels like you’re out in the country. Mostly longer term stayers (we’re here for a few months), but they do a very nice job of keeping the campground feel instead of the trailer park vibe. Nice dog area and walking also. Quite happy.

Park management and personal are polite and professional. Dog wash station and dog walk. Trees scattered around the park offering shade to some sites. Cons: no WIFI/internet available for the complex, no control over the electric motorcycles that the young crowd buzz around the park even though the speed limit is 5mph it’s not observed or patrolled.

ScoutYou want to see someone have a power trip? Look no further! The guy managing the place always has a problem with repair companies getting his residents fixed. Always demanding crazy things just to appease him. He’s threatened to call the cops on for not“checking in” with him, when we checked in with his wife and he just wasn’t informed.
He calls me today and tells me we can no longer provide rv repair service there because of another power trip move. Stay far away. The guy managing the place is a complete joke and so rude to everyone that comes thru there.
I hope the owner realizes why he’s getting bad reviews. It’s because of bad management. His wife is an amazing woman. It’s Greg that’s the issue. For those wanting to stay here. Stay far away. Unless you like to be micro managed on everything you do.

GuideI made my reservation a few weeks from travel and spoke with Gabriella on the phone to reserve. I decided to change to Tuesday and Wednesday instead of M. & Tu. and Gabriella made the change very quickly. The day we arrived, I texted with her to let her know our expected arrival time, and her husband Clemente was waiting for us at the CG. He let us pick our site and helped us get backed in, then shared some local info with us. We planned to visit the missions, and he gave us a map of the biking paths that was very helpful. We were given a key to use for the gate- the property is safe and secure. We enjoyed the picnic table for afternoon shade and walked around the gardens to admire the plants. Although the CG is close to 410, it’s mostly quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching some small planes fly overhead. We left the CG about 9 am and rode our bikes on the Riverwalk/Mission Trail all day- returning about 4:30. The trails/paths are very well maintained.
