Simple Campground

The FamCamp is small and simple but affordable place to stay while you’re in town. Although the sites are paved, there is mud everywhere during rainfall. Only one side has shade.

It serves it's purpose

Basic RV campground, NO privacy, no shade. Well maintained and off by itself so low traffic. Easiest way to find it is go in the gate nearest the hospital on post.

For current fee information and to confirm your eligibility status, contact the Lackland AFB FamCamp office directly.

What amenities are available at Lackland AFB FamCamp?

Lackland AFB FamCamp offers basic amenities with paved RV sites. The campground is well-maintained but has limited natural features - there's minimal privacy between sites and only one side of the campground provides shade. While basic, the campground's layout and maintenance make it suitable for military members needing temporary accommodations while in San Antonio.

How do I make reservations at Lackland AFB FamCamp in San Antonio, Texas?

To make reservations at Lackland AFB FamCamp, contact the campground office directly. The FamCamp is located on base, and the easiest way to find it is to enter through the gate nearest the hospital. Be prepared to show proper military ID or credentials when making reservations and upon arrival. For specific contact information and current reservation policies, check the Lackland AFB website or call the base operator.
