Friendly staff, clean and quiet grounds. Will definitely stay there again.
We camped here Memorial Day. The staff was very friendly and the sites were clean with sewer hook ups. It had rained so the site was pretty flooded, but we made the best of it. There are a lot of things to do for kids and the pool was not too crowded.
We stayed in the Live Oak camping loop which has spacious sites and RV hookups. The park has great hiking with some trails basically going straight up to the tops of the surrounding hills. Be sure to check out the caves and the view from Old Baldy. We saw plenty of birds and even turkeys! The river…

This place is very nice. Clean bathrooms, near river, has a play area for the kids. Deer come up and eat in the field in the evenings as well.

We had an amazing time with our whole family.
Garner is a lovely park and February is a great time to visit if you are there to camp and hike. Our site ended up being too tight for our slides to open fully (because of trees on either side). We ended up having to leave one closed because of a storm that came through at night. Low hanging…

Garner is a magical place full of summertime memories for many TX families. We love to have a picnic and rent kayaks. This is a must-do park in Hill Country. Fun for the whole family, but gets crazy packed in the summer.
So far, one of my favorite TX State Parks. Great for landscape photography, swimming in the clear Frio River, biking and hiking.

Overall, this is the best RV park on the Frio River. I would give it 5 stars, however one negative with this park is the ground. It is made up of fine dirt and gravel that gets everywhere in your rig when it rains and with the morning dew. Simply taking my dog for a morning walk means I need to…
Google states it is permanently closed.
We had an absolute blast here. We’ve been wanting to camp at Garner and it has always been full. We finally got a spot and it was great. We were in spot 140 with our NOBO 19.3. It was a huge spot and was within walking distance to.....everywhere!! We had a dried creek bed behind our site that led…

The location is beautiful and quiet. A lot of the facilities are closed due to COVID but we enjoyed our stay.

Love this place! Large spots, fire pits, Medina Lake access and the friendliest of people!
