Beautiful Campground with Great Views

This campground is beautiful and clean..most sites are waterfront and have great sunrise views. The sites are level and have nice firepits. We just travelled cross country for 3 months and this is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at..we will be back!!

Four Star Campground with Five+ Star Resort Prices

Great views and setting are undercut by tightly packed in spaces which, combined with there being a majority of BIG fifth wheels and class As made one feel packed in a canyon of campers rather than being able to soak in the lake and environs. Mixed with a lack of ammenities and no real culture or vibe made for a disappointing stay in spite of the alluring setting.

On a constructive note, they also allow far too many vehicles in - many spots had tow vehicles plus a daily driver in the tight spots and road - added to the sense of congestion.

On a more positive note, in warmer months, boating on the lake would be very convenient, the campground was clean and well maintained, and it’s all an easy and quick 20 minute drive into downtown Nashville!

**Note that the campground was open in March despite the alert on here saying it’s closed until April. **

Road trip stop

Stayed 3 nights in sites 12 and 13 on our way across the country. Super clean and very well maintained. Just a short Lyft ride into the city.

Great location. Bugs are bad

Nice lake. Nice pool. Good sites. Lake is close to all sites. Very helpful store at the front with items you need. Groceries are almost non existent but you can drive to Cracker Barrel or dollar store or restaurants nearby. Steer clear of Waffle House a mile away.

Beautiful location

This park is located on a peninsula on a lake close to Nashville. Almost every site has a view of the water on flat concrete big pads. Some sites, on higher land, are mostly long term residents. Most sites are back in but there are a few pull through. Each site has all hook ups and are very well maintained. The sites are close together but not uncomfortable. There is a camp store at the main office. The pool is very nice and there are games, a playground and a pavilion. There was a band there during my stay. Activities planned throughout the month. It is more expensive than most but the quality of the site is worth it.

The name says it all

What a great campground. Sitting in a lake, the campground is a peninsula surrounded by water. Great views, super clean and very nice amenities. Saturday night they had a band and a Halloween celebration. Very safe. Full hookups, decent WiFi. It is a bit expensive but well worth it for the proximity to Nashville and the beauty of the site. Maintenance and managers are top notch.

Best RV Resort In Nashville

Located water front on Percy Priest Lake. Outstanding sites, grounds, pool and other outdoor activities. Have a wonderful dock for guest boats plus boat launch and trailer storage. No tent sites only RV and tow behind. You will not be disappointed.

Nice lake views

We stayed for a weekend since this isn’t a terribly far trip from our home. We had some friends recommend the campground so decided to try it out. The park is nicely maintained, clean, and the views are spectacular. We stayed in site 22 which is a standard lake view I believe. That side of the park has a pretty big cliff behind it so no water access from the site. The opposite side views the marina. Our site was very level and clean. Hookups were easily accessible. Be very cautious of the site lengths. Some are extremely short and I’d say the measurements are nearly exact. Since our site backed up to a drop off, there was a small fence so no way to “hang over” the pad a little for extra room. It was exactly the length we needed with nearly zero wiggle room. The sites are very tight too. As mentioned above they are staggered so you still have the view, but it is pretty tight backing in. Also notable is when you are backing in you’re blocking the entire road. The road is one way and there’s not enough room to get around anyone. Makes for some traffic back ups during check in and check out. Lastly is the price. There are several amenities, but at $90+ a night, it’s pushing the limits for sure. We’ve stayed in places that were just as nice or nicer for $60 a night. If you’re looking for a nice place with a great location, then the price might be worth it, but for us as weekend warriors who just came for relaxing and for the views, I’m not sure we will be back mainly because of the price.

Percy Priest perfection

By far the nicest place we’ve stayed, amenity-wise. Our site backed up to an amazing view of the lake and the marina. Very clean, well-maintained and well-run. The only downsides are 1)it’s a little pricey and 2) sites are close together...typical rv resort spacing, but they are staggered so it’s fine. Very close to home for us, so that’s a bonus. *second stay here...avoid site 16. It’s a great location in theory, but your view is largely obstructed by site 15 which is angled the opposite direction (see pic). *we preferred staying on the marina-side. It was shadier and more private.

Nice lakeside park

We enjoyed our stay and took full advantage of the lake. We paddle boarded, swam, and kayaked. The pool area is nice and they had live music on Saturday night.

It’s a little pricey, but if you want to experience Nashville, it’s a pretty good deal given the proximity.

Not much shade on most sights but the area is well kept and clean. Trash pickup every morning.
