Several campers appreciated the convenient location and generous site spacing. However, some visitors noted noise issues from other campers and felt the overall experience was crowded rather than scenic.

No services but quiet

We arrived just after sunset. We never saw a campground. Stayed overnight at the boat ramp in a large quiet lot next to the reservoir surrounded by trees. A few cars were in the lot in the morning but I didn’t hear a sound. There are no services here.

Ho Hum Spot

I made a tour of campgrounds and lake recreation spots near Nashville TN during an extended trip where I had to be there to keynote some conferences.

If all you want is a spot to drop your boat in the water and be around a bunch of other people, this is your place. Otherwise, there are much nicer places on this lake to visit and stay at.

awesome boat in

Boated in and camped on an island. Only drawback was the other campers on the island blaring music until 3 AM
