Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort

Excellent park with easy access to Nashville excitement.

We didn’t actually stay here because after I booked I realized the water park is not open during the week although it had officially opened the week before. My mistake for not looking closer. However when I went to cancel our reservation which I had just made they informed me I would be charged a $25 cancellation fee and a $5 fee for booking online. The fine print said I would only be charged $10 for canceling because it was far enough in advance. They also tried to convince me to leave my booking as credit to use in the future but I think I’d just prefer somewhere more upfront with their policies. Any how, just a heads up to check that the water park is actually open before you book and don’t expect good customer service.

Nice enough campground. Pretty quiet this time of year. Spaces are close together. Full hookups at every site. Clean park. Check in was super easy. Close to Nashville and all the things to see and do here.

This place is great! There is a lake with all sorts of water craft to rent. There is a high water park as part of the complex (separate fee). All sites have full hookups including cable. All roads are paved. All sites are level. There is even a dog park so your 4 legged family members can run free too.

I actually had a really good stay here, but I will say that the water park was closed and it wasn’t peak season. They do keep the campground up and it is very friendly service. I like that they had cable and a full hook up and the showers and bathrooms were nice

Overall this is a good campground. It is right on the lake and probably the best access to downtown Nashville and other attractions. It is part of a water park which was closed when we were there, which might change things. Sites are spaced out well and easy to access. WiFi and cell were both good. Bathrooms were clean.

We've enjoyed our stay here. There are very few RV parks in the Nashville/Franklin area and are more on the outskirts. We were happy to get a site here as it's relaxing by the lake. Wifi worked good most of the time and cell service was 3 of 4 bars AT&T. Very level pad and all roads and sites are concrete. Mosquitos and spiders to stay aware of at night when the lights are on, but I think that's seasonal. Picnic table and fire pit at each site. Sewer caps don't screw on very well, but manageable if weigh your hose down to stay in place. Peaceful stay.

Nice clean paved spots facing the lake. Full hookup with playgrounds and a general store. The water park is amazing.

It was very quiet because nothing was open during the week. We stayed sun to Thurs water park is only open on the weekend. The lake is very pretty but it's just to look at unless you want to drop a fortune to rent a jet ski or boat there is no beach access unless you pay to enter the water park which isn't open right now. Nashville is a really cool town, most everything is open now with a few exceptions.oh yea no one mentioned that this place is on the flight path of the international airport.

If your here with your family and love water parks and money is no object get here a day early to get full advantage of the weekend. We got ripped off by buying a season pass for a day and a half. It’s a great deal stated the person at the check in. For the price of admission for two you’ll get a season pass that get both of you full access to the water park and tree top adventure park.....NOT! We paid $50+ to float in the lazy river. No one wore a mask and if we didn’t ask for our social distance we didn’t get it. The life guards were not any help whatsoever. As for the camp grounds yes they have lake side sites that cost additional but no access to the lake unless you are renting something. You may enjoy the ducks and geese but the raccoon or possum population and their scat added a memory to our carpet that my last a while. No we won’t return and passed on other sites thinking that this was the spot. Live and Learn. Lost Cajuns moving on.

This campground was very convenient for those visiting the Nashville area, its just off the highway and they offer shuttles for a fee to downtown and opryland. The check in process was quick and simple, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Our campsite was easy to find and very clean. The shower house was one of the best I've seen mostly because it is air conditioned. The showers are all very private and clean with plenty of room. The waterpark is just steps away, I would suggest not eating food within the park it is over priced and not very tasty, go to the marina restaurant or eat at your campsite. They have a dog park to exercise your dogs and you can't beat the views. I would recommend this campground.
