As a courtesy, daily trash pickup is provided at all our sites.

Parker’s Crossroads is located very conveniently off of I-40 and the park is gorgeous! They have some long term campers, storage, and an RV Repair Center on site. The shop inside has more parts then we have ever seen at an RV Park. While here we needed a switch for a water heater, they had it!
The campground had some narrow roads and some less than level sites but they were all doable. They have a nice pool area, spaces for dogs to be walked (on leash), pet waste disposal, cabins, and full hook ups.
The park was very quiet and clean, well kept. They have large mature trees, and great landscaping.
The cellular service for TMobile and AT&T we’re both decent and streaming video was possible each night.

This is the only RV park in Jackson, Tennessee. It is right off I 40 and it runs along side the interstate which will make it rather noisy with all the truck traffic. This is a well established permanent mobile home park. The RV's that are not long term are parked at the front of the park. When you pull into the park you will need to drive through the park and back up the other lane and the sites are all pull thru. There are full hook ups but I would make this a one night stand for me unless you need to live and work in the area. Park needs some clean up and maintenance. The RV's are sitting on top of each other.

It is a trailer park that also has RV spots, it is clean but campers are close together, no campfire spot. Lots of long term campers.
TravelerLike most if our reviews...I cannot comment on showers, bathrooms, etc. We have an RV for that. They do have a clean accessible laundry room that is nice. That being said...do yourself a favor and just stop here. This place a great find and one if the best we've stayed at. It's clean, plenty of space, great pond with ducks and geese, and the hosts are second to none...seriously the best. We stayed at a pull through, concrete pad site that was perfectly level. Their office is decorated in a really cool 50s diner fashion and makes you want to order a shake and some fries. Just a great spot. Given the time...I could see this being a long term spot for us.

There are 3 different campgrounds in thos very large state park. Cub Lake is for tents or small campers with water & electric hookups. The Wrangler Camp is for horse riders with water & electric hookups. The Pin Oak Campground is for RVs. Every site has full hookups. Two nice bath houses, a pavilion, playground, beach area, and boat dock. It is very open with several trees, but not not a lot of shade. The pictures in this review are only from Pin Oak Campground.
TravelerWe stayed for 5 nights in March 2021, the park was very clean and well organized. The owners are onsite and run the day to day operation. We saw the owners on the campground several times a day. Very friendly and welcoming! The pad site was concrete and level with full hook-ups. The park was very quiet and beautiful. We will stay here again in the future!!

They have re-done a lot of the RV full hook up sites to be very nice. Plenty of space and privacy. The area is a little hilly which makes it a challenge for a little kids on bikes but the playgrounds are really nice. The Wi-Fi is pretty spotty probably because of the hills. Cell service is barely one bar. So this is truly a disconnect and get away kind of place.

This park offers everything you might think you need to do while on vacation at a State park. There are three camping areas, wrangler,RV and primitive. All have water spigots. Full hook ups for the RV crowd. Bathroom facilities are old, but they are okay. Now, what to bring. You can rent a horse, boat, kayak and paddle boat on site. There are also gravel trails for 4 wheelers. And don't forget your bike, water wings and fishing rod.

CONs: very VERY few level campsites (some are pretty sketchy inclines), very narrow lots for RVs, not full-hookup, no site trash cans, 10 whole minutes of hot water in the showers in June on a Thursday, no lake access within walking distance of campground.
ADDITIONAL: Has 4 nice primitive campsites but none are near the lake.
WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE: Lots of lake but few fish biting regardless the time of day, multiple nice beaches

This campground has become our favorite. The campground is amazing, the bathrooms are cleaned everyday on weekends and every other day during the week. Completely cleaned!
The site has 77 sites full hook-up with sewage. Every site has grill, fire pit, table and lantern hook. We were #38 it was easy to back into and pretty level. The campground also have small cabins with bunk beds to rent. There is no indoor water just beds, electric and air for a great price. There is a small swimming area too at Pin Oak.
There are a few lakes in the area. Pin Oak is the only motor lake. Cub lake has a larger swim area with paddle boat, Jon boat and kayak rentals. The rentals are only weekends. Browns Creek Lake also has honest system rentals of Jon boat but for fishing purposes only and you have to pay for a lake permit.
The park is great! Lexington is close for quick runs for anything you need. We loved this park so much we may be changing our family BBQ to this park next year.

There are several travel trailers and older trailers in this small location. There is a circle drive which makes it easier to get in and out. This is a well established old RV park in a very small area. It is located between Huntersville and Jackson, TN just off Highway 70 and is not that far from I 40. Whispering pines has not been maintained but is in a quiet location for traffic.

The location is conveniently situated halfway between Nashville and Memphis at I-40 on Exit 108, making it easily accessible. The sites are spacious and situated on 18 acres of picturesque rolling Tennessee Farmland, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature. The amenities offered are exceptional, with all the necessary hookups available for both RV and tent camping. I particularly loved the market, which offered a wide variety of supplies to make my stay comfortable. The staff used to be pleasant and accommodating, making my trip all the greater enjoyable. If you are planning a day out to the area, I pretty endorse you visit this gorgeous campground. You may not be disappointed!

GuideWe found ourselves unexpectedly needing a new spot for the night and traveled on from Arkansas. Once we got to Memphis and saw just an hour and a half further we could stay here instead, we kept motivated. It was worth the extra time on the road, the owner was so sweet when we called late needing a spot. This RV park is treated like someone’s home and it has great hosts. They made us feel welcome. We were comfortable and safe, the facilities were all the nicest we have seen to date, clean and well taken care of. Would stay here again. Easy to get to off the road.

We have a 24fter and had a teeny bit of issues getting her out of there, but not by much. Full hookups at other sites we drove through but just water and electric at ours. Would come back again!

Scoutthe campground has full hookups which is great for those that are in campers and RVs. there are some small shade trees in the area but not enough to use to get out of the heat of the day. there is a large lake on the campground that has a beach and swimming area. with your stay at the campground you do not have to pay for a permit to go fishing or kayaking on the lake or put in a boat. the staff is amazing and can help with almost any problem and continue to patrol later into the day to keep an eye on the kids running around. top notch, would recommend.
RangerOne of the strangest parks we've been to. There are two campground loops. One for trailers/RV's, they call it, and the Wrangler, equesterian. The trailer/RV loop is on the side of a hill. It was amazing the way they got so many half way level sites into this area. Very, very tight. Good thing for us it was booked up and we ended up in the wrangler loop. A nice flat area more suited to larger rigs. Some, as was ours are very,very close together. Most are pretty level and easy access. Ther is no office that we cound find and when we asked a local, his reply was, "You got a reservation, then just got to the site & yur name & date will be on the post. Yup, it was. Pretty good for a night over. Just can't give it a real good rating. Att & Verizon were both workable. OTA TV not so good.
All in all, doubt if we'd go back.
GuidePin Oak Lake Campground is very nice. Well maintained with full hookups and plenty of space separating the sites. The lake itself is very clear water. Easy to access the park from I-40 but it is a bit of a drive from the exit. All good roads and location makes the campground quiet. Plenty of activities in the park and close to some Civil war battlefields. Our 38’ RV was easy to park on the generous pad. Take plenty of food as a trip to the store is a bit of a drive.

RangerMy wife grew up going to Chickasaw State Park as a child and when she wanted to go back with our family we couldn’t get inside because the state of Tennessee was totally redoing the campground. They closed it for one year. When it was reopened, we booked a trip with some friends to see what all had been done. This park was already an outstanding campground, but the addition of sewer in many of the sites and updated hiking trails, ADA access, and the newly updated bridge across the lake were breathtaking.
We stayed in the primary campground area and had access to sewer 30/50 amp and water. There is a horse camp with newly added 30A electric and newly paved pads. There are tent camp sites on the other side of the lake that are beautiful if that’s your thing. There are several hiking trails and a nature center with owls and a falcon. In warmer months, there is a marina with boat, canoe, kayak rentals and a swimming area that were all being updated. There is also a restaurant in the park, but i was closed for a complete renovation as well. The playground is new for parents interested. The dump station is easily accessible.
If you are looking for a beautiful spot in West TN with full hookups and plenty of activities for the family, Chickasaw State Park is outstanding. We will definitely be back!
