Open terrain defines this primitive-style area within the Lake Carthage Game Production Area, where campers can set up anywhere across the flat, grassy ground near the lake. Amenities are minimal. A single review notes just two fire pits and one porta-potty on site, with no potable water or electric hookups available despite what listed amenities suggest. The town of Lake Preston, about two miles away, provides a free dump station and free showers. Campers planning a stay here should bring their own water and confirm current conditions before arriving.
