Easy to find

I think there is only one, maybe two sites here along the Rifle Pit road. We didn’t go down the road that branches to the right before the crest of the hill, but didn’t see anyone else camping. Visited by some cows in the morning! Fine place for a night, very close to Wind Cave

Convenient

Nice spot out of view for a quick overnight. Could still hear traffic on Highway. We were at the 2nd site on a side road and a couple more with potential further north right along the main gravel road. We could hear, but not see the group at the next site. Also a rooster or two close enough to act as a wake-up call.

Sitewe stayed at the site further in, just before the locked gate.

Dispersed site for larger rigs

This is a large open dispersed site. We were able to turn our skoolie around in it. The open overlooks a bit of the area. We didn’t like the open sun here. The other spot closer to the main road had more shade. However this one accommodates larger rigs. SOS cell signal with sometimes text only. It’s just down the road from Wind Cave National Park.
