Very secluded

First time there, and it was very relaxing. Super quiet at night which was nice. Sites spaced out and very well kept. Lake was very clean where we were.

Great condition State Park!

We went for the first time last Labor Day. Not a ton to do but super relaxing. There is a beach area and a hiking trail. A lot of the sites are in great shape.

My fiancé had Verizon and had signal but my family was on AT&T and had very limited service.

We are going back this weekend for…

Party Central on the Weekend

We camped at Hamilton Branch for a week, Monday-Sunday. The campground was quiet and lovely during the week, however Friday snd Saturday nights were loud-Several folks partied very late into the night (2:00am) with loud music, loud voices, etc. On the positive side: The lake was great, and we had a…

Great location tired bath house

This park is on the Lake Russell a large lake with 540 miles of shore line and almost no houses. Great for fishing, swimming and kayaking. A huge well maintained beach and two playgrounds for the little ones. A very popular park.

Great Spot!

Loved it here! It was beautiful and had great views. I would definitely stay here again. The sites were spread out enough that you don’t feel on top of others.

Lake view campground

This campground was absolutely beautiful. Had a tent site with a beautiful lake view and easy access for water activities. Our dog LOVED it! Would definitely stay again. Only complaint was camping in the heat but I guess that’s the price you pay camping in the south in the summer. 9/10.

Twin lakes/lake hartwell

We had a great weekend. The sites are large, very clean, and conveniently located. Each site has a fire pit, grill, and large picnic table. Gravel parking area, easy access, and very private!

Campground is making major changes. Family friendly. Great pizza and fantastic restaurant next door. Big catfish and nice dock and beach.

Great Wooded Sites

Paris Mountain is a jewell in the Greenville SC area. Nice wooded clean sites. Great biking and hiking trails.

When making reservations pay attention to the details of the sites, because many aren't level and the road is curvy.

On The Edge of Camping Paradise

This is one of South Carolina's furthest afield campgrounds (any closer to Georgia and you'd be in that state!), so be prepared to find seclusion and a decent dosage of privacy all on the lakefront edge of heaven.  Having never camped in SC before, my family and I checked out a number of…
