Memories for a Lifetime

I’ve been camping here since I was born in 30 now that means 30 total stays. We stay for one week over July 4th and it’s been the best time every time. This campground is part of our family and provides one of the best experiences I’ve had at a campground. There is something for everyone and they continue to better the experience. I now have a child and a camper of my own and we are continuing the tradition of visiting this campground. I love this place and can’t wait to return.

Great beach camping, lot of amenities

We loved our stay here, easy beach access, great pool and store. Lots of family activities. Campground and beach have a lot of rules, so make sure you are prepared.

Big resort with full amenities

Big rig site on NOT level dirt. Beach sites have zero shade & crammed together. We are closer to lake, under shade, lots of leaf fall, bugs of all sizes, off busy main entry road.

One Of Our Favorite Locations

Having never camped at Myrtle Beach we didn't know what to expect, but we can honestly say that this has become one of our favorite destinations. We love the beach and the town. The park is very nice and right on the beach. It is a very large park with over 600 sites for non-seasonal renters.  The main attraction here is obviously the beach and we took advantage of every minute we could to be on it. There is a pool, well stocked general store, large laundry facility, and multiple very nice bath houses. Myrtle Beach is a great town with lots and lots to do and we only scratched the surface. Definitely will be back.

5 stars if you like RV Resorts

Some great spots down by the beach.

We had a nice stay at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in December. The spot we ended up in was 210 which is about as close to the beach as you can get. It was about a 10 second walk from our van and over the dune to the beach. Really amazing spot which made our entire stay there. Our first night there we were in B5. I would not recommend any of the sites that back up against that side of the resort as you are basically backed up to a huge 20 floor hotel. We were near their service entrance so lots of noise and floodlights coming into our site. Things were much better once we switched to 210.

We are not normally RV resort people but this was very handy since we are working full time. Nice to have laundry, a store, and be able to walk to the beach in 10 seconds to take a break from our computers. I only saw one other van during the time we were there- definitely more for large RVs. I’m sure the other amenities would be fun (pool, restaurant, bar, etc) but none of that was open while we were there.

I’m giving this 5 stars because I’m sure if you like large RV resorts, you would love this place. If you prefer dispersed camping in the middle of nowhere, you probably would not want to stay here.

At the beach, great amenities!

What a great park: sites are close together but who cares, it is at the beach! We parked right next to a beach walkover, and pssst dogs can go on the beach. There are time restrictions during peak season, but my dog had a blast! Cool beach vibe and we definitely go back.

Good for the price

This is a pretty good RV park the Myrtle Beach area is one of our favorite places to go to RV parks and this is one of the ones that offers the ability to rent golf carts and also go close to the beach you still have to hike a little bit it's not as close as Pirate Land or the one that has the pier but it's pretty close it has a nice pool and it has some good facilities. We did have some issue getting delivery here as they wouldn't let the doordash drivers in we had to meet them at the gate.

Bathrooms: 4/5 clean but no AC so it smells a bit like pee the time

Sites: 3/5 super close no cable just water electric and sewer

Pools: 5/5

Beach: 3/5 good but not as close as it should be for the price

Waterfrontness: 1/5

Closeness to other sites: 1/5 you are up each other's buttcracks

Dog rating: 4/5

Internet: no provided internet but we were able to use our ATnT hotspot router

Cell service: 5/5 Google Fi & ATnT worked

Water quality: 2/5 definitely beach water.

Extra amenities: Golf cart rentals, kayak rentals, paddle boat rentals, bike rentals, scooter rentals, fishing rod rentals, iced by, laundry facilities, Putt-Putt.

Very large park

The spots are a little tight but most are pull thru. The WiFi was not working during our stay. The pool is great and the beach is within walking distance.

Great Stay, No Issues

Nice area close to the beach. Great for star gazing and just relaxing.

Cell service was okay (T-Mobile) and there was cable TV as well as plenty of over the air stations.

Staff was friendly, guests were nice, pool was relaxing. Would go back.

Best Myrtle Beach Camping

I’ve been camping at Myrtle Beach since I was a kid, and this place is definitely my favorite.

It’s your typical “parking lot” beach camping place, but it’s awesome that nearly all sites are pull through. The staff is awesome. The bath houses are spacious, clean, and well-maintained.

Nice park

This is a gigantic park with so much to do for families. My husband and I and our dog were there for a week over Thanksgiving holiday. Our campsite was perfect. It was under the trees and spacious. However we were on the main road and there was a constant flow of RV traffic the entire time. The facility was full, which I think can handle 1800+ rv’s. But for families this is a perfect park especially being so close to the beach. Just too busy for us. Also for this size park I would have liked more areas to be able to walk the dog on grass. The park was very clean and the people were friendly.

Beach, pool, fun

This was our first trip (close to home) with our travel trailer.  My husband and I went with 8 children from 2-16.  We went during the Coronavirus pandemic.  We were required to reserve pool time and arcade time.  The beach area is great as well as the store and funnel cake stand.  We had a pull through spot because we were (and still are) newbies.  I think I would prefer more space but we had fun.

Great location

As someone who enjoys Myrtle beach but not all the people his park was a great compromise. You are close enough to all of the tourist destinations to fill your week with entertainment while not being right in the middle of town. Myrtle beach isn’t exactly known for it clean beaches and clear water but the further up north you go the better the water/sand quality gets.
