Briarcliffe RV Resort

Briarcliffe RV Resort accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups and operates year-round with rates ranging from $35-70 per night. The gated resort requires reservations and maintains strict rules with associated fines to preserve the property's appearance and atmosphere. Sites feature concrete pads, though multiple campers report leveling challenges that require blocks or auto-leveling systems.

The resort caters primarily to RV camping with no tent sites allowed. Many long-term and seasonal residents create a retirement community feel, which some families with children find less welcoming. Staff enforce numerous regulations, but reviewers generally consider these reasonable for maintaining order. The property includes a pool, clean restroom facilities, and WiFi access throughout the grounds.

Location puts campers within walking distance of Barefoot Landing's shops and restaurants, plus easy access to North Myrtle Beach attractions and the House of Blues. "Bathrooms are clean and conveniently located," notes Ann. Traffic becomes particularly heavy during spring motorcycle rallies, which experienced campers recommend avoiding.

Water quality concerns and pricing complaints appear in some reviews, though others praise the maintained grounds and security. For those wanting different options, Bass Pro Shops Myrtle Beach, SC sits just over a mile away.

Terrible rv park

To start off the lady at the front desk is very rude. I travel full time and haven’t been to a park this bad yet. It’s all pretty run down and had dirty drinking water which is a big problem. The park is also way over priced for what you get. Would highly recommend any other park in the area.

Fantastic location for a great price

We stayed at briarcliffe for a few nights at the end of June. Our site was concrete but in no way level, we had to use our leveling blocks to keep our auto leveling system from lifting wheels on our class c. The sites were a little cramped but the park itself was very well maintained. We felt very safe there with a toddler as it is gated access. What we really loved was the location which is within walking distance of barefoot landing. So nice to have dining and shopping right next to your RV park. This park has a ton of rules with fines to go along with them, but don’t be alarmed they are all completely reasonable and are there to maintain the look and feel of the campground. Would absolutely stay again!

Close to everything in N.MB

Close to the beaches of North Myrtle, shops of Barefoot Landing, concerts at House of Blues. Traffic can be crazy during the Spring motorcycle rally- avoid it then. Park is very clean but no tents allowed, many retirees stay here so at times it seems kids are a nuisance to them. One of the better places to stay in the grand strand though.
