Situated along the Intracoastal Waterway in Little River, North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina runs closer to a full-service resort than a traditional campground. Sites are concrete-pad pull-throughs with full hookups, accommodating rigs up to 75 feet, and the layout is dense, with spots positioned close together and minimal shade or landscaping between them. One reviewer put it plainly: the campground is "not even a water view" from most sites, though a boardwalk along the waterway gives campers a place to watch boat traffic pass.
The amenity list is extensive. A large pool with a water slide, a hot tub, a tiki bar, basketball courts, a playground, and a small arcade are all on-site. Rates run $104 to $144 per night, which some reviewers found steep given the parking-lot-style layout. Off-season stays tend to be noticeably quieter, with fewer occupied neighboring sites. Cell coverage is generally solid on Verizon and AT&T, though the campground WiFi gets mixed marks, so remote workers may want to rely on their own data connections.
The resort sits within easy driving distance of restaurants in Little River and the North Myrtle Beach shoreline. Pets are allowed, and there is a small dog park on-site, though reviewers note it runs better for smaller breeds. Campers wanting a quieter, less amenity-heavy stay in the same stretch of the South Carolina coast can browse campgrounds around Cherry Grove Beach or consider Barefoot RV Resort a few miles to the southwest.
Description
Once you pass through the front gates of our resort you will know why the North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina is a cut above the rest. We can easily handle the “big rigs” with 15 extra large (53’x75’) and 107 (53’x65’) full hookup sites all outfitted with a 20’x50’ concrete pad. If you are inclined to bring your boat or yacht, we can handle that too with 36 wet slips. We offer a variety of activities such as cornhole, horse shoes, sunning by the pool and fishing, a relaxing swing by the marsh walk watching the boats go by, all of which will become your favorite past time year after year.
