Pocono Vacation Park

Accessible via paved roads, Pocono Vacation Park accommodates RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The privately managed campground operates year-round with nightly rates ranging from $33 to $41. Reservations are available, and the facility welcomes pets.

The campground attracts a mix of seasonal residents, weekenders, and vacationers. Sites consist of dirt and grass surfaces that reviewers note are not level, though their length helps compensate for front-to-back slope issues. Many sites offer pull-through access for larger rigs. The facility includes a swimming pool with a separate toddler area and schedules activities throughout the summer months.

Location serves as the campground's primary draw. Debbie W. notes, "You literally CANNOT find a more conveniently located campground in the Pocono area." The grounds sit close to shopping centers, outlet stores, water parks, and regional attractions. Arrowhead Campground lies 1.8 miles southwest for those comparing nearby options.

Standard amenities include drinking water, restrooms, showers, a dump station, and WiFi access. The Rail Gap Pocono Creek Nature Reserve borders the area, providing hiking trails along Pocono Creek. Both drive-in and walk-in access accommodate different camping preferences, making this a functional base for exploring the broader Pocono Mountains region.

Visitors often highlighted the excellent location near Pocono attractions and family-friendly activities. Site spaciousness was appreciated though ground leveling issues were noted. Mixed feedback on facilities, particularly pool conditions.

Mostly Full Time RV Park with tons of events

This park is great for families, they had events scheduled throughout the summer, and a separate toddler pool. It’s very close to the Rail Gap Pocono Creek Nature Reserve, with some nice trails along Pocono Creek. We stayed here for a week and everyone we met was super friendly, and we would visit again.

Worst campground EVER

Like being at a 1980’s meth lab in a campground. Pool is unswimmable, accommodations are ramshackle and beyond terrible. Stay was mildly courteous but doesn’t take away from the incredible seedy nature or the campground. Whoever gave it 5 stars must have been visiting the tweakers. We

Location

Great location to everything in the poconos. Mostly long term residents. Sites are dirt/grass and are not level, but they are long which makes up for the front to back level issue. Lots of weekenders and vacationers.

Awesome location - Family Friendly

You literally CANNOT find a more conveniently located campground in the Pocono area. It is super close to all shopping, outlets, water parks and area attractions. Site I stayed at was huge and had plenty of room to pull through. Seasonals are super friendly. There are scheduled activities intermittently. A quick call to the office will give you an idea what's going on for the weekend.
