Lake Glory Campground provides similar cabin amenities while Fantasy Island and Splash Magic RV Resort feature cabin rentals with varying levels of furnishing. Most cabins include indoor lighting, beds, and basic furniture, though amenities differ significantly between locations. The bath houses are clean and well maintained."

Cabins at Williamsport South-Nittany Mountain KOA remain open April through November, while Jonestown/Hershey KOA offers year-round cabin accommodations. There was also a sturdy dining room table with chairs and an oscillating fan inside."

Most cabins include beds but require visitors to bring their own linens, towels, and toiletries. Cooking facilities range from simple fire rings with grills to cabins with microwaves, refrigerators and stoves. Basic provisions and firewood can be purchased at on-site camp stores, with larger grocery options available in nearby towns. Campers staying at furnished cabins should verify what's included before arrival. One camper shared: "Nice, clean, friendly/accommodating staff and the prices were reasonable for the accommodations. The cabins had a large queen size bed and then a loft bunk. There was a nice built-in shelf with electric and even a good amount of hooks and cubbies for storage."

      Gifford Pinchot State Park Campground

We booked two nights mid October not realizing that it's duck hunting season and that hunting is allowed RIGHT by the campground - with kids everywhere. We were jolted out of sleep at 5 am by gun fire right near our site. It kept up for the next hour. In addition, the bathrooms, although clean are in poor condition. Peeling paint everywhere with bare concrete in the showers. For such a pretty site, we had a miserable stay. We left after one night.

      Beautiful Falls!

What a great campground! We stayed here on a recommendation from a friend after the Overland Expo. Great hiking trails and the falls were absolutely breathtaking. Truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return!

      Hersheypark Camping Resort

      EXPENSIVE

There was no hot water in the showers. There are no dog poo stations. There is a dumpster marked “STAFF ONLY”. It’s nice they have a place to stuff the staff!

      Sunsational Family Campground

I would not recommend to anyone

This campground is nothing as stated in the reviews.  And now I know why.  The one review on here besides mine is from the owner.  The bathrooms are not clean. I was told for Labor Day weekend I could stay for two nights had reserved and all.  They then abruptly cancelled my reservation and took three days to respond and say I could have a different cabin and tent sight but would need to stay three nights because of the holiday.   They also charged a cleaning for a service pet which is not legal.  We then showed up and were the only people staying that weren’t seasonal site people and very not welcomed.  The first comment made was here come the weekend warriors.  We look at the cabin which was ironically filthy and covered in mouse poop yet we got charged a cleaning fee.  The grass was not mowed the porter potty’s so gross bugs are crawling in the bottom.  The camp store was closed during the car show they had and when we asked when it will be open they stated it will not.  It was 1 pm on a Saturday.  The reservation process was unorganized.  The playground was not mowed or weed whacked and a slide is ratchet strapped together.   I would not recommend this place to anyone.

      Camp Swatara

      Very family oriented

The sites ard nice, it's run by Mennonites, I believe. Lots of recreation for kids, quiet time respected and a service on Sunday morning. Full hookups for a very reasonable price.

      Twin Grove RV Resort

      Nothing open

Picked the nicest days of the week. Got here and the carousel, Ferris wheel, restaurant, and ice cream shoppe are closed. They are apparently only open 2 days a week, maybe 3. I would have just went down the road to the KOA had I not known this.
