    Great view, very clean!

A little more money for the view, patio, grill and fireplace, but well worth it! Not too hot even at 95! Cool nights and plenty of sky.

    Roosevelt Park

Not quite as nice as previous reviews

This is a nice little park, it’s a little misleading when you pull in as there is an Indian reservation next to it that looks like a bunch of homeless camps, so be careful where you park your rig. Also if you’re tent camping, I found out from the camp host that you may want to check with him before you set up a tent as there are automatic sprinklers that come on certain days

    Blue Valley RV Park

    Nice Campground

Our GPS took us right to the campground (CG) plus there was plenty of Blue Valley RV Park signage to guide the way into a small industrial area and the adjacent golf course. Check-in was quick and we proceeded to back-in site 8 with FHUs. The utilities are towards the back of the pad, so I had to use two sewer hoses to get from the main black tank on our Brinklely G model. The sites on this side of the CG are nicely landscaped with a decent amount of room. After reviewing all the rules on line, we were a little concerned but the management was not overbearing and there are four main rules as displayed when you check in 1) 5 mph speed limit, 2) don’t park in the road) 3) pick up after your pet, and 4) pets on a leash. Water pressure was good at about 50 psi. We got 4 bars on Verizon. There were no mature trees in our area, so we did not have a problem getting a clear shot north for our Starlink. We logged into the Wifi and it was above average, but the CG was not full. The CG is near a small but nice industrial area near the police station and humane society. Go to Walla Walla’s main street area where there are far more wine tasting rooms than you can do in a day. Grab pizza from the Sweet Basil Pizzeria. This CG was a good choice to visit the area.

    Passing through

Called last minute and was able to get a water and electric only site which is all we needed. The park is well maintained and it's all gravel. However the sites are all flat and easy to pull into. For just over $40 dollars for the night. I have no complaints. The staff was friendly when I called. It took me a couple times to get a live person. But it's a small office and I'm sure they were busy. I would stay here again. Looks like a great place for boating and fishing with a nice sized parking lot and slips for rent.

If you are just looking for a place to put your tent

The sign says you need to register, couldn't find anywhere to register. Sign on board says closed for camping, it was a Covid-era sign. Requires a discover pass, but otherwise, free. Didn't see any park employees. I camped on a Friday evening and was the only one there camping except for an RV boondocking in a different section. Has a boat ramp and a spot you can fish from. No campfires.

    Great for a nite stay!

Good parking area for us, not many here or could get a little tight depending on how people park. It does not have shade so a little warm in August! Be self contained 😀

Good place for a stop over night...

The price for FHU was very reasonable. Access to the wifi was great. The views were interesting. Once you get past the big industrial plant, the sunset in the river was nice.

4 trains rolled by in the middle of the night. They blew their horns every time.

    Clean and friendly

Andy at the front desk was very helpful checking me in. She and her associate assisted with me finding the best spot with some shade and facing the mountains. Yes, there are a lot of units here. And, it’s still a great spot for camping. They are all 50 amp and include a converter, if you don’t have 50amp. Leveled and spacious for vehicles.

    Nice in city campground

Nice campground for in the city. Well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. The tent sites are pull through and small. All have electricity and water. Nice playground and RC track which our child loved. No wood fires allowed.

More trailer park than RV park

Pros: it was very close to family that moved in nearby. Our site was level and the grass was green. Hookups were good and arranged well. Cons: the park is almost entirely long-term tenants, and many of the rigs were quite old and had lots of “accessories “outside them. Also, there was one functional bathroom and one functional shower for the entire park. Fortunately, our family was close by so we use their bathroom and shower when needed. It seems like the park is trying to improve, but it has a way to go before I would recommend staying there.

This is more like a large parking lot for day tourists with a few spots right by river side. There are no designated camping spots. There is one vault toilet which is clean. There are mostly fisherman or boaters staying here. No shade. For a overnight stay fine but I would not stay longer.

Nice place to rest and enjoy the Columbia River

Stayed two nights and loved it. Lots of boaters using the boat ramp and parking area. Lots of disbursed camping areas and short walking paths. Lots of birds also.

    Location has all you need.

Would be five stars but train is very loud. Still, has all you could ever need. Boardman is nearby and there is a laundromat, a food truck court that’s open for breakfast, water fill station, bathrooms at campsite, and ample gas stations/other resources. Plus, you can wake up right on the water for free!

    Good City Campground

Like others that have reviewed this campground I agree this is great for an in-city campground. Yes, you can hear the freeway it it becomes white noise at night. There are a lot of permanent residents but it’s a nice, clean facility. If you have something to do in the Tri-cities and want to camp, this is a great choice.

I’d recommend any of the sites in the newer section.

    Fantastic Weekend Getaway

Very well maintained RV sites in the middle of town. Convenient for that weekend getaway. Hot tub and pool are amazing. Some of the sites now have patio and fire pit.

    Easy stop

I've driven by for years and recently had the opportunity to stop in between a couple of long travel days.  Site was level and surrounded by beautiful trees.  We had a nice walk through the campground.  It was not crowded, being a weekday in October.

I was amazed at the freeway noise.  Very loud.  Didn't really have trouble sleeping, but certainly not quitly peaceful, unfortunately.

    Great heritage site!

    Fishhook Park

Remote CoE Campground on Lake Sacajawea

General: 41 RV sites with water and electric plus 11 tent sites in a grassy common area.

Site Quality: Reasonable separation between the sites. The back-in sites are wide enough to comfortably fit a TT, 5th wheel or RV and your toad or other vehicle side-by-side. The pull-through sites are very large. All sites have gravel camper pads and most appeared very level or had a level area. Our site, along with several others, had a nice view of Lake Sacajawea.

Bath/Shower house: Clean even if a little dated. Didn’t use the shower so cannot comment on that except that the hooks are located outside of the shower stalls so even though there is a swinging door to the shower area, privacy is compromised a bit by this design.

Activities: Unless you have a boat (there is a boat launch and dock), not too much to do here except relax. There is a small swimming area but no beach to speak of (grassy and pebbly area). There is a playground and horseshoe pits but no hiking trails that I could see.

To get to this campground, you drive past many miles of apple orchards and then suddenly, you see the lake and campground. There are quite a few trees for shade. Surprisingly good cell (Verizon) given the remoteness of the campground. Be aware there are train tracks nearby and you will hear an occasional loud train. It was very quiet on the Wednesday before Labor Day, but we were told it would be completely full on the weekend.
