Plymouth Park Campground

Plymouth Park Campground operates seasonally from early April through late October with sites ranging from $22-$50 per night and accommodates RVs up to 55 feet. This US Army Corps of Engineers facility provides full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections alongside standard amenities like restrooms, a dump station, and allows both campfires and pets with reservations available.

The campground features paved sites positioned directly off the main camp road, creating what Nicole L. describes as "pull outs off the camp roadway." Sites offer minimal privacy between neighbors but provide level parking surfaces that work well for any size rig. Green irrigated lawns contrast with the limited shade coverage, and several reviewers note the open layout. Mimi found "large spaces, lots of trees" during her stay, though shade availability appears to vary by site location.

Lake Umatilla provides fishing, kayaking, and swimming opportunities within biking distance or a short drive from camp. The facility includes a playground area where children can play in the open grass spaces. Summer temperatures climb significantly, with one camper noting it "gets really really hot here in the summer." The Columbia River viewpoints require driving approximately 20 minutes from the campground itself, as direct water access from camp involves a longer walk.

Road access proves straightforward for large rigs, and the campground maintains clean restrooms with shower facilities when operational. Some seasonal maintenance issues affect hookups and bathhouse availability, so calling ahead helps avoid disappointment. Staff receives consistent praise for friendliness and responsiveness. Hermiston, Oregon sits six miles away for resupply needs, while campers can explore places to camp around Umatilla for additional regional options.

The campground works best for RV travelers prioritizing easy access and full hookups over privacy or immediate water access.

Favorite Stateline Campground

Super nice, friendly staff. Amenities such as showers and laundry a plus. Close to shopping in Oregon. Adjacent to fishing, boating and more. A delightful place to camp solo ir with the entire family young or not so young!

Nice for a day

The sites are level and paved, easy for any size rig. But there is little to no shade, and the sites have no space between or privacy.

Lawns are irrigated and green so that is a nice touch. Host is sweet and seems to be on top of things

Not my style of camping

It’s a cute spot if you don’t mind sharing right spaces and zero privacy. The spots are basically pull outs off the camp roadway. Nice for a pit stop on the drive but I wouldn’t prefer to stay there more than that. Personally, I’ve stayed better places for free and the $30 tag for the spot wasn’t worth it for me.

Bathrooms/Sewer Unavailable

The setting is lovely, but the bathrooms/showers/campsite sewer hookups were all out of order:(:( It would have been super helpful to know this while I was on the phone booking my spot for the night!

Beautiful campground!

We’ve enjoyed our stay at Plymouth. Not all sites are full hook up anymore. Nice open space the kids loved playing in and a playground. We had a few windy days, and some perfect spring days. Quiet and peaceful.

Easy site

If you need an easy place to pull in for the night, this works. The sites are big, and the bathroom is clean. If you think you’re camping on the Columbia River, you’re not. It’s close, but you can’t get there from here—walking anyways.

Sweet secret near the water

What a sweet surprise! Army Corps campgrounds are always appreciated, and I had no idea this one was here! Very quiet, large spaces, lots of trees. Easy bike ride or short drive to the water area. Clean restrooms and wonderful hosts. It does get really really hot here in the summer FYI.

One Night Stopover

This spot costs a bit more than I'd usually spend and the spots were super spacious for my Tacoma.

I just got lucky they had something available because I rolled in after dark with no reservation.

It was super clean, had beautiful views of the starry night sky, and the staff was super friendly when I checked out the next morning.

The pics I took weren't from the campground itself, but from a viewpoint about 20 minutes down the road overlooking the Columbia River!

BUGS!!!

When you arrive a sweet lady warns you about the snakes. But what she failed to warn us about is the swarming yellow jackets. My boyfriend spent the entire evening fighting them away from the van. I got stung. Finally the sun goes down and they go away. Then we wake up and as soon as we open a door three yellow jackets. Our doors were covered in spiders and webs. Also side note… only one shower in each bathroom and the women’s one covered in dang spiders. If you have no problem getting stung or waking up with spiders everywhere I would still avoid caution in the campground.

Clean campground

$12 a night for water and electricity. Clean area with grass and playground. Some areas appear to be under construction or upgrade. Dumpster and restroom available. Showers closed because of covid-19. Sights are on paved roadway with firepits and picnic tables. Easy in and out for our 32' Class A. Hermiston Oregon is 6 miles away.

Surprised me!

It was a last ditch chance and it is a wonderful place. Lots of green grass, laundry, clean bathrooms, pleasant people and a river to walk along. There is a train across the river but it never offended me noise wise. Now this is an intended stop every time I pass this way.
